Photo Hut, Wed., 1/23

The not-really-a-harlot was at work this morning and today he was actually working. He was checking out some new digital cameras and maybe enjoying himself by snapping a few pictures. Of himself. This might take up most of his day.

Johnny shoved the camera aside and went red in the face when he saw Lana. "Hi, Lana." Awkward. This was really awkward.

"I got your message," Lana said quietly, blushing herself. "And I just wanted to stop by to say that you didn't take advantage. Not at all. Neither of us were ourselves, but whoever we were, they were both consenting. I'm just glad Summer came in when she did. And I think it's really good of you to tell me it was you. I wouldn't have known otherwise."

"I thought you should know, considering," he said. "I didn't like who I was, Lana, and yeah, we were both consenting but I needed you to hear my apology." He had just been too ashamed to find her and tell her personally.

"That really takes character," Lana said. "It would have been really easy to just not say anything. And I wanted to apologize as well. I know I - she - really came on strong. I'd never do that if I was myself. And just so you know, I already went and apologized to Savannah as well."

Johnny looked at her. "Thanks, Lana. I appreciate it and I know Savannah does as well. Fandom weirdness strikes again, eh?" He chuckled, trying to wash over the awkward feeling. "I told Savannah next time this happens to lock me up somewhere and make sure I don't get out."

Lana nodded. "I'm trying. I'm just bothered that this is the second time I've turned into someone who was just... a slut. But at least Chris understood. And it was much easier because we didn't actually... you know."

No. She wasn't telling anyone about what Chris had done. That was his to share if he chose, not hers.

"Radio doesn't get much right," Lana said. "And yeah, you might have been dating a lot at the beginning of the year, but it's not like you were being exclusive with anyone. And since you've been with Savannah, you've just been with her. That's not slutty behavior."
