Wellspring Arms & Meditation Centre, Wednesday

Ino was in a good mood as she showed up to open the shop. A good night's sleep and she'd convinced herself that it had just been paranoia speaking last night. Surely noticing Kabuto around more than normal hadn't meant anything, right? She was humming as she watered her plants and swept and dusted.

Her smile faded a bit when she remembered that Cable-san had done radio on Thursday and that wasn’t nearly far enough away for her liking. And she hoped that he hadn’t discovered the fact that she'd joined a gun club yesterday.

She eyed the stairs up to his apartment and hoped he didn’t stop by.

Wellspring Arms is Open.

It wasn't the stairs, but rather the front door through which Cable entered in the morning. He still had a bullet hole in his shirt near his stomach, but his face was as unreadable as usual. He stopped a few paces in, took a glance at Ino, then at the stairs himself--

Oh, going by the few scattered books and his door creaking open, he was pretty sure Dom had been there.

She blinked, glancing up from where she'd been puzzling over the scattered books, when the door opened. "Cable-san?" Ino's eyes widened, "What happened to you?"

"A talk with a friend." He ripped his attention away from the stairs, passing by a set-up in the center as he walked towards the desk. "Everything's been calm?"

Lana stopped by for her lesson. "Hey, Ino!"

Ino was, by this time, pretty gleeful and Lana was greeted by an enthusiastic attempt at a hug. "Lana!"

Lana was startled, but hugged her back. "Hey," she said with a smile. "Someone's in a good mood!"

After a very bad phone call (http://redintraining.livejournal.com/3581.html#cutid1), Sky had gone running away from his room with no real goal in mind. He finally decided to enter Wellspring Arms, thinking that maybe meditation would help him calm down and clear his head. He felt slightly better when he saw a familiar face.

"Hi... Ino, isn't it?" he asked, approaching her. "You're the one I had a snowball fight with that day."

Ino was gleeful, Ino was excited and this was turning out to be one of the best days ever. She looked up from where she was sitting on the desk with a box of photos she was sorting through and grinned. "Right in one. Don't think I can throw any snowballs today though. The weather's weird."

Though Sky felt dread deep in his stomach, he couldn't help but smile a little at Ino's exuberance.

"Yeah, I noticed," said Sky. "It was really cold when I left for class this morning, but now, not so much."

Meditation Room

Ino all but danced into the meditation room. She couldn't help her good mood. "This is the meditation room," she told Sky cheerfully, "but it's also used a lot for friendly sparring and the like. The padded floor helps keep injuries from getting too bad."

Sky followed Ino into the meditation room and looked around, impressed.

"I like it," said Sky, testing the floor with a hand. "I'll have to stop by this place more often. It'd be a good place to practice my martial arts." I'll have to drag Bridge and Z here, he thought, allowing himself a smirk. I hope they've been keeping up on their training.

"It's well designed," Ino agreed. She did, however, prefer training outside, "and if you want a sparring partner I know Rikku is normally up for it, same with me."

She clapped her hands together. "But today, meditation."

Meditation Room - Lana

"You've been keeping up your practising, I hope?" Ino's smile said good and well that she was betting Lana had been.

Lana nodded as she stretched out. "Yes, of course. And I've been running and working out every day as well."

He slapped the magazine into the handgun on his way in.

Ino entered right behind him, glancing around the room eagerly. "So, what first?"

"Stance," he said, simply, and slipped easily into the basic firing stance with the gun. Supporting his arm with his other hand wasn't really something he needed to do, but it was important for Ino to learn it right. "Stand like this."
