Jaina arrived at Caritas about the time it opened, surprised to see no one there but the zombies. After a moment of waiting, she looked to the stage and asked, "Have you seen anyone around?"

One of the zombies gave an answer, but since Jaina wasn't about to try translating that without Threepio around, she just sighed and headed behind the bar. It wasn't like she didn't know where everything was.

When Tino returned from wherever he'd been with more duct tape for the zombies, he looked at Jaina questioningly. "Too late, I'm already here," she said.

If Jaina doesn't get you, Tino will.

Not really being one for attending big parties where he'd probably have to talk to multiple people, Jolee decided to spend the evening in his bar.

"Hmm. A lot of people who don't work here tend to end up behind this bar," Jolee said. "I'll have a glass of water."

"If it helps, I used to," Jaina said, getting the water together and sliding it over to him. "I commandeered the bar from Tino."

"Thank you," Jolee said. "He probably deserved to have it commandeered anyway. How are you tonight?"

"Good," she said. "You? It's not your night and you're here."

"Sometimes I like making my employees jump through hoops for me," Jolee explained. "It brings joy to what life I have left."

"Literal hoops? Because I know some people that would just call that training," she said.

"Ha! No, but that would be an idea," Jolee said. "You'd like that, wouldn't you, Tino?"

Tino indicated that he wouldn't like that with a single finger.

"That wasn't very polite of him," Jaina said, amused. "If you did that, I'd have to come by more often."

"I'm not sure it would be worth annoying my employees," Jolee said. "That might mean I'd have to work more nights myself."

"Good point. Though you do pay them."

"Only when they show up," Jolee said. "I can think of one or two who wouldn't want to exercise for their paycheck."

"Good point. Well, it was worth a shot," she shrugged.

"It'll be on my list of requirements next time I'm hiring," Jolee promised. "Must be willing to literally jump through hoops."

"At least you'd know that they're serious," Jaina grinned.

"Very true," Jolee said, drinking some more water. "So, what actually brings you in tonight? Besides the want to take Tino's job from him?"

"Nothing special, just hadn't been here as me recently," said Jaina, shrugging. "Felt like getting out for a while someplace that wasn't the salle or gym."

"And you still want to add an obstacle course to the place?" Jolee asked. "You really did need a night out."

"Yeah, when this is the way my thought processes go, it's time to get away from them for a while," she said. "Thank you for helping me with that."

"Any time," Jolee said. "Any time within reason, at least. Old people need a lot of naps, after all."

"I'll remember that. Don't want to see you cranky, after all."

Or just hang out for a while.
