Book Haven, Monday

Seregil came into the shop and set out the tea and pastries for any customers who might want some.

Then he settled down himself with a few books on computers. He wanted to know more by the next lesson he had with Andrew.

Even though Zabuza would have hated it, since coming to fandom Haku had become a complete book worm, especially with those mystery novels that Evie had gotten him into before she left.

But now he was out and needed more.

Not being overly familiar with the store, he walked up to the counter and smiled prettily at the other teen. "Hello, I was wondering if you could help me."

"I'm looking for a good mystery," Haku smiled back. "Do you know if there's anything good that's come out?"

"I'm having the same problem," Haku smirked slightly. "I'm Haku by the way."

He nodded. "Yes and no. My home does have electricity and such in some places, but most are poor. Bookstores like this are only for the super rich and priveledged and then reading for leisure even more so. I'm going to be terribly spoiled when I go home."

"What about yours?"

"That's pretty impressive," Haku smiled with a nod. "The only thing I read growing up were scrolls on fighting techniques and even those were hard to come by once my partner and I had to leave our village."
