Pizza Planet, February 1

Jen had not only filled out the application paperwork Tom had told her to bring in today; she'd reviewed it three times and made two copies to keep on file. Police paperwork habits stuck with you, even if the 'paper' part was figurative in the year 3000. The original copy in hand, she showed up early for her first shift and took her time familiarizing herself with the restaurant.

The apron looked a lot silly over her Time Force uniform, but hopefully in a week or two after her player made icons from caps of last night mwaha she could at least afford one set of civilian clothes. She'd gotten by for a year with one set of civvies; she could do it again.

Sure, working in a pizza joint was probably a step down from law enforcement officer/superhero type, but Jen looked pretty happy about it. She hadn't been lying when she'd told Wes that one of the things she'd miss most about the 21st century was pizza, after all.

Today's Special
The Silver Hills Sicilian
Roma tomatoes, blue cheese, green peppers, pineapple, pink red onions, and black olives

The black olives were actually stuffed with little bits of tomato.

Pizza Planet is open!

Tom was there, of course, and happy as a clam, as per usual. He'd managed to not mess up the tomato sauce today, and he had an excited employee.

Life was good!

Hey, creative specials are good. XD I'm a "pepperoni and NOTHING ELSE POLLUTING MY PIZZA OMG except bacon on occasion" kinda gal, so if specials reflected my tastes it'd always be extra pepperoni.
