Her store, her wonderful store! Getting ready for the masquerade ball this weekend, and oh, Tink loved balls! (Not like that.) Everything so formal and gorgeous and people not smelling half so stinky as usual.

Tink noticed that her cute fancy-talking employee had set up the mannequins to be dancing. How very nice! Some of them had fancy dresses, and some of them had skimpy lingerie. Which seemed like Tink's sort of ball, really.

She set out a lovely display of masks, and puttered around the store. Mostly looking for absinthe.




Pixie Dust was open.

After class, he made his way to the store and started looking around for--

He was far too happy to see Tink. You'd think she was about to hand him a fistful of diamonds and the deed to the Wizard's Palace, the way he was smiling.

"Miss? I don't suppose you could help me again, could you?"

He had dressed in the clothes she'd helped him pick out; he'd thought it might go over well.

It would have, had she remembered him. He didn't look freakish and therefore didn't register as someone she had to recoil in horror from.

Welcome, welcome, welcome to Pixie Dust! Did he need clothes for the dance? Everybody needed clothes for the dance. Something fancy. Something shiny. Something sexy. Something to ensure all the dance-goers went home and got laid Yes? Very?

Did he know what color his date was wearing? Never clash with the lady's ensemble. Or she'd smash your toes with her stilettos.

Well, this seemed like it was going to be reasonably painless after all. Jenny pointed to the first dress. "That one." It sent, she felt, the appropriately slutty message, but with a hint of class. And she was sure it would look great on the floor. "Let's talk accessories. I'll need a mask, of course, and shoes...hrm."

Oh, it was one of her students! One she liked, who had completed the class assignment and everything! Hello, hello, and welcome! Welcome to Tink's Emporium of Utter Fabulousness. She really was going to change the name one of these days when she got some paint. Didn't it just sing?

So was she here for a dress, for the dance? Of course she was! There was a dance and all sorts of people were getting dresses. And very slinky underthings. Because dances were good for the hormones and all of that.

Troy came into Pixie Dust, looking around at all the different clothes. "Hello?" he said. "I'm looking for something for the dance, but I kind of want to avoid traditional choices."

At this point? He wasn't even sure if Sky was going, much less if they were going together, but... hey, new clothes.

Well. He was a boy, going to the dance, which meant he was sort of locked into the standard dance attire, which was variations on a suit. You could do interesting things with vests, or ties, and you could leave the jacket off entirely, or you could go for something less formal with khakis and a nice shirt.

If that was the sort of thing he meant by non-traditional. He wasn't talking anything outrageous here, was he? Banana hammock, Southern Belle dress, velour pimp suit? Those were really not the sort of things to get one laid.
