He was here. And not freaking out about Valentine's.

Bridge arrives at the restaurant a little early for his date with Xander and gives Michael a friendly wave. "Hey, dude."

"Hey... Bridge, right?" He waved back.

"The one and only," Bridge says. "Excepting, of course, the existence of possible alternate universe mes, but none of them are here, so yes."

"Yeah, and be glad of it. Odds are good there'd be at least one you didn't want around."

"That sounds like the voice of experience," Bridge replies. He wasn't disputing it, considering Xander's vampire-self, and Tori's experience with the trip to an alternate universe.

"Heh. Yeah. You heard about the last weird weekend?"

"I was a Japanese version of myself," Bridge says by way of an answer. "He wasn't evil or anything, though. Just... Japanese. You weren't as lucky?"

"My "experience" is alive and well and living in a sewer in New York City. Or I think he's alive, anyway."

Yeah, the only person Bridge knows who had spent any time at all living in a sewer is his fake little brother, who is less of the "alien" persuasion and more of the "mutant ninja turtle" one. And Mikey had turned out pretty cool, but somehow he doubted this was the case with *Michael's* AU self.

"Well, um. Hopefully you'll never actually have to run in to the guy?"

"I'm for that", Michael agreed, then looked at him curiously. "So who was your Japanese guy?"

When he pings in.

Tom was especially bouncy today. Tomorrow was Valentine's Day. Meaning he had an excuse to buy a lot of chocolate for Lynette then help her eat it.

If you feel the need

When Xander did arrive, he was wearing a grin and the traditional pizza-date uniform: jeans and a nice white shirt, the better to attract tomato sauce with.

He taps the empty chair at Bridge's table. "This seat taken?"

"Hmm, I *was* saving it for someone. But I guess you'll do in a pinch." Bridge replies. He's... really not good at this teasing thing, as evidenced by the dorky grin that lit up his face as soon as he caught sight of Xander.

"Did you wanna pinch me before or after the pizza?"

"Uh," Bridge coughs. "I think that might best be a post-pizza activity."

"Just checking." Xander slides into his seat. "You order yet?"

"Nope," Bridge admits. "Sort of got distracted talking to Michael, so I didn't even have a chance to look at the menu."

Xander reaches for the menu, and glances over towards the Michael in question. He'd seen him at the Hate the Moon Day party, but the face seems more familiar than that, like..... Braintwitch. Hunh. Like he'd seen it across a darkened parking lot in Sunnydale.

"Is that Isabel's Michael?"

"In the same way that there are people here that you also know from back home, yeah," Bridge nods.

Xander glances again and gives a nod of understanding. "Kind of comforting to know it's not just a Scooby thing."

"I think Jamie knows people here that he knew back home too," Bridge points out. "But yeah, you guys did seem to have cornered the market on that. Not that there's an actual market, because that would just be weird."
