Of all the things Tink hated, coming in to her store with a hangover was fairly high on the list. Not as high as Wendy-birds of course, but way above nice things like sleeping in and drinking rather a lot of absinthe.

But there was a dance and the fashion-impaired teenagers needed to be pretty, so here she was. They should not expect her to be very happy about it.




Pixie Dust was open, and its owner was considering charging admission of booze at the door.

(OOC: am posting extra shifts this week for people needing formalwear goodness - but ze pixie, she is cranky today, so be warned.)

Andrew walked into the shop and immediately started to worry that he wouldn't be able to afford a new suit after all.

Maybe they had a gently used section or maybe a spot with markdown suits with missing buttons.

Hello! Hello and welcome to Tink's Home of Stuff. She was a little hungover. So she was drinking. That was the best cure, wasn't it? Hair of the dog that those atrocious Wendy-birds had in their twee little nursery? It was such an ugly dog and she was a little drunk.

Did he have any liquor with him, by chance? She was, sadly, not drunk enough.

"Oh, hello little flying lady," Andrew said with a smile. "I am here for a suit, for the, um, dance." He spoke very slowly and clearly.

Sadly, Andrew didn't have any liquor with him. Having only had alcohol once in his life, he still hadn't reached the point where he needed to keep some within arms reach.

Andrew's face fell as she started showing him all the options.

"Um..." He scratched his head uncomfortably. "Do you have anything that's kind of, um, inexpensive? But nice?" Yeah, probably not. He was starting to feel a little embarrassed about having come in.

"I know my boyfriend got something from here, so maybe something that would match his suit?"

Tink considered. Well. There were always options. He had some money, that was a good start. Some people didn't have any. Oh, Tink hated days like that.

He might rent a suit, if he didn't want it for later, and if he promised not to hurt it on penalty of her removing all of his fingers and feeding them to wild dogs if he did. Or possibly signing something about owing her. She'd never really rented clothes before, but there was no reason not to, now was there?

Loads of people came in here. Could he describe the boyfriend? Tink wasn't very good with names - or faces, at times - but if she remembered she might be able to pull together something nicely paired.

Was he hoping for a very nice outfit so that he could get laid? Tink did give discounts for that sort of thing. As of yesterday, really.

"I could get a rental," he said, "if you're really okay with that. I promise to be careful. I don't smoke or anything, so you don't have to worry about cigarette burns." The last suit he bought had been pretty cheap because of the holes burnt into it.

"My boyfriend was in here yesterday. He's a little taller than me, dark curly hair, really green eyes, um, big hands, goes by the name of Liir," he described, hoping some of this sparked her memory.

"I really want it to be a memorable night," he added.

Yes! Yes, welcome to Tink's Emporium of Fabulous, Fabulous ... Fabulousness. Tink was a little hungover and not her usual fabulous self, but that was no reason not to help the teenagers get pretty, pretty outfits.

What was in the bag? Was it liquor? This girl would be Tink's favorite person ever if it was liquor. Was it?

It wasn't liquor, but Cimorene could be convinced to bring some in next time. "I have a dress." The princess gestured to the bag. "However, I can't find a mask. Could you please help me pick something out that would match?"

Who knew? Tink didn't! Some of the girls have very formal spangly affairs and others had tighter more low-cut dresses and some of the boys had blazers and trousers and some had very nice suits indeed. It was a very nice plum color, so Tink approved. Masks!

"Excuse me," Triela called as she stepped into the shop. She was wearing the suit she was planning on wearing to the dance. A dark charcoal gray affair which somehow managed to appear a bit masculine while emphasizing her what little figure the skinny girl had.

"I was told I could find a mask for the dance here?"

Yes, she could! Welcome, welcome, welcome to Tink's Emporium of Masks! And dresses. And shoes, there were rather a lot of shoes in here, but none of them were her size and you couldn't shrink shoes down properly, but at least her own slippers were fabulous. Weren't they ever so fabulous? She thought about renaming the store that some times, Ever So Fabulous, or Tink's House of Fabulousness. But she never got around to painting it.

What sort of mask was she looking for? Tink had plenty.

The Pixie was... different. Though it did make an odd sort of sense given the name of the store. Imagine that: Fandom making sense.

Oh. ... Ohhhhhhhhhh. Oh, Tink understood now! Yes! A suit, something very strong and ... could she say butch? Tink was never sure, what words were acceptable. Very well! Tink would find this girl a very bold, rugged sort of mask sure to make all the pretty girls at the dance swoon at her feet!
