Maybe it was all the candy she'd had in the library with Bridge yesterday, but Jen was in an odd mood when she came in to work today.

That might explain -- at least in part -- the special.

It was probably gross, but it amused her. That was the important part, okay?

Tacked underneath the specials board was a small piece of paper with a hand-written note that read "Watch out for space pirates!"

Tom was a bit dubious about the special. So he made sure there was one out just in case someone was feeling adventrous, but was also prepared to make anything else double-quick.

When somebody could pry him away from Donkey Madness, that is.

Yeah, busy, busy, BUSY day today because I've got a ton of work to clear up before I leave for the weekend, so play from me may be quite slow indeed and probably nonexistent after about 7:30 PM Pacific because my laptop is en route back to Dell and I WILL NOT SEE IT AGAIN FOR TWO WEEKS AUGH HOLD ME . . .

In truth it amused me and that was the really important thing.

When I sent my old laptop into Dell I thought it would be gone for weeks. I think I got it back in eight days.
