There weren't actually any vacancies, but there was still a Guy With Tools, and said Guy had his boot-clad feet up on the counter while he perused his copy of The Twinkies Cookbook.

And of course there were signs

Joanna walked in, frowning. Her frown only deepened when she got a look at the man behind the counter.

She cleared her throat. "I'm looking for the 'Guy with Tools'." She said the words slowly and clearly, in case the attendant was slow.

"That'd be me," Xander answered with a friendly smile, swinging his legs off the counter and pointing to the nearest sign. Admittedly he wasn't wearing overalls or his construction hat, but the rest was pretty accurate. "Xander Harris. What can I do for you?"

Joanna stepped closer to the counter, looking at Xander warily, as though he might spring up at any moment brandishing an ax.

"And you are capable of remodeling a closet?" she asked doubtfully.

Dawn was in an exceptionally good mood, even after discussion world-endage in mythology class, and decided to share that with Xander. There was no food offering, but she thought she might be forgiven.

Oh, look, a Robin holding a wee dog. She was going to take him out in the hopes of wearing the silly thing out, but decided to make a detour thanks to recent turns of events. "Hi!"

And a player who actually kind of hates them. Twinkies, not OOC threads. Every so often I try one just to see if maybe I've been crazy all this time, but no really, they're kind of awful.

At the restaurant where I work, we just rolled out a dessert featuring deep-fried Twinkies and Zingers covered with ice cream and chocolate sauce.

I'm not making this up.

See, with ice cream and chocolate sauce I could almost see it, just because the incredibly disgustingly bad cakelike substance would be fairly drowned with edible elements.

"Just a couple of guys I only dated for three minutes," Mel said with a shrug and placing the donuts on the counter. "Nothing serious but I had fun. Any reason why skipping a dance to go patrolling is a bad idea? Dawn was very worried about it for some reason."
