Apu had arrived on time and opened when he was ready. Sulley, on the other hand, had slept through his alarm. When he finally awoke, he rushed down to the store, fur on end, and hurried to stand behind the counter.

Sky decided to take a break from passing out flyers (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/2529990.html) and wander into Turtle and Canary. Maybe there would be Grape Judas... but alas, no.

"Good afternoon, fellow giant fruit!" said Apu cheerfully. "I see that Mr. Manager sent you out to advertise, yes?"

"Yeah," Sky grumbled. "I had to take a break."

"Hopefully you will find something to your satisfaction today, scowling sir!"

"...I sure will," Sky sighed.

Sky came up to the counter (still wearing the banana suit, of course), and looked at the Squishy flavors.

"Afternoon," he said to Sulley, as pleasantly as he could manage.

"Hi!" Sulley greeted, not thinking much of the banana suit. He figured it was normal for the guy. "Uh, what can I get you?"

"Medium... Wikipedia Vandalism Espresso, please," said Sky, before doing some awkward manuvering to try and get his wallet out of his pants pocket (yes, he was clothed underneath the suit). "I could use the taste of victory right about now, I think." He was glad that Sulley wasn't laughing, or even staring.

"One Wikipedia Vandalism Espresso coming right up." When the squishy was ready, he popped a lid on it and handed it over with a straw. "You'll have to let me know if it really does taste like sweet victory. I'd try it, but espresso and I don't get along."

Sky accepted the cup, handing over the exact total in exchange. He did find it almost sad that he'd bought so many he knew it by now. He then took a sip, and felt a tingle going down his spine.

"Wow," he said. "It's very sweet, at least. I'm not sure what victory's supposed to taste like, actually, but this is pretty good." He smiled at Sulley. "I'm Sky, by the way. I'm doing some advertising for Bluth's Original Frozen Banana stand, where I work... hence the giant banana suit."

"It's nice to meet you, Sulley." Sky snickered. "Yeah, I've learned that at Fandom, you can never tell. Thankfully I usually only wear the suit once a week, if that." He sighed, taking another sip of victory before turning to go. "I'd better get back to work."
