Luke's Diner; Wednesday [ 02/20 ]
The design on the specials board today was a little darker than usual today, with lots of streaks of blues and purples. A.J. felt it was reflective of his mood, which wasn't very good in the slightest, thoughtful and annoyed. He tried working on some concept designs for his project to distract himself, but they weren't going very well. Things like the pencil lead breaking or soup spilling all over his sketchbook kept happening, so eventually, he just gave up, threw the sketchbook across the dinner in a fit, and then just spent the rest of the time sulking.
Luke's is open.
Luke's is open.

"Good day, I come for a sandwich and a collaboration."

He shifted on his stool. "What was your fantasy world about?"

He thought a little about what A.J. had described. "You must love your girlfriend much, to want to make a world for her," he ventured. "Was she a witch, or a warrior, or what was her part?"

omgmoddedsandwich). "Must the story have these beasts? I write, but more about love, or, if there is no love to write about, adventure, fighting, things of that sort."Re: Talk to A.J. -- 02/20
His face wrinkled a little in a distasteful expression. "That sounded kinda...pompous, didn't it?"
It was kinda true, though.
Re: Talk to A.J. -- 02/20
"No more so than I am, claiming I can write about love," Romeo shrugged. He pulled a out a notebook. "So there is a heroine, an' she must escape a labyrinth and save someone from an evil witch using not her brawn, but her brains."
"Mayhap," he ventured, "her lover, thinking her captured by the witch, is trying to fight his way in from the outside, and must defeat the witch's troop of guards."

He glanced about the diner for inspiration. "... which I will think of before I finish my sandwich."

Re: Talk to A.J. -- 02/20
No, he'd have to manage this sober.
"A chocolate shake?" he asked hopefully. "Even if the sugar doesn't help, it will taste good."

He held out his hand. "Give me the shake so I may judge?"

His eyes all but rolled back in his head in joy.
"Have you considered," he wanted to know, once he had swallowed, "starting a faith based around these? I would convert."

And then we discovered that the reason they were invincible was not because they were zombies, but because they were actually robots. Which somehow made them no longer invincible. And then I got on a monorail for some reason to go to the Big City and save us all, but then when I got to Big City and the doors slid open...
I woke up.
So lame.
