Sokka ignored Apu's glare when he walked into the store late. ...Okay, maybe 'ignored' is the wrong word.

"WHAT??!?!? Like you've NEVER gotten to work late before???"

Apu stopped stocking shelves long enough to look Sokka square in the eyes. "No, I have not."

"Well, lovely. Good to know that you're perfect."

Turtle and Canary was open, and grump-- Oooh! Easter candy!!!

Today's Squishy flavors: Grape Judas, Grape Jelly, Stuffed Grape Leaves

Believe it or not, Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs taste EXACTLY like Reese's Peanut Butter Hearts.

Jack wanted a Grape Judas squishy. Or Grape Stone. Grape Peter. Whatever. Squishy?

Sokka -- who was himself sipping at a Stuffed Grape Leaves Squishy (mmm, meat) -- waved at him.

Jack waved back. I can has squishy?

Not that Jack is familiar with anything intarwebby. Heck. All his base is belong to everyone else at this point.

Sokka cocked an eyebrow at him, being totally incapable of reading narrative. "Hey! What can I do for you? Or are you just here to stare and wave?"

If Sokka could read narrative, it may be an indication that he identifies with Deadpool too much, and that he may soon be harboring unnatural feelings for Bea Arthur.

"Squishy? Grape Judas Squishy? Then I can stand and wave," he said. Squishy!

"Here you go!" Sokka cheerfully announced, once the Squishy acquisition was complete. "But I'd really rather you didn't stand around and stare and wave. That's sort of creepy."

Jack was too busy brainfreezing. "OW. ...what?"

Sky wandered in after his workout, of course in pursuit of sweet Grape Judas goodness, grinning at Sokka and examining the Squishy menu, as well as the shop's newest acquisitions.

"Hey, Sokka. New candy shipment came in, I see."

Sokka grinned. "You bet! This island has all sorts of candy holidays one after the other! It's GREAT!!!"

Sky gave the thumbs-up, reaching into his pocket for his wallet.

"I'm not too big on candy, but sometimes it is nice. Well, I bet you can guess what I'm here for. Though I am wondering what the difference between Grape Jelly and Grape Judas is."

Sokka shrugged. "One of them goes well with peanut butter? I dunno. Personally, I'm sucking down the Stuffed Grape Leaves. Mmmmm, frozen slushy spiced beef goodness..."

Sky made a face at the idea of Stuffed Grape Leaves in Squishy form. He wasn't sure he quite liked them even not frozen.

"While I do trust your judgment, I think I'll pass this time. I think I need to be in the right mood for, ah, frozen slushy spiced beef goodness. Medium Grape Judas, please."

"But of course," Sokka replied, in his best Grey Poupon voice. He served up the Slushy and grinned. "Anything else? We've a wide variety of... stuff."

"Ahh, thank you. Hmmm..." Sky went to examine the Easter candy, telling himself that he HAD to stop putting junk in his body... but he HAD worked out... but it was junk... but he'd worked out... Finally, he seized a peanut butter heart and two Cadbury Creme Eggs, setting them on the counter. "I might as well indulge myself while I'm here."

Who is severely underappreciated.

I hate being sick.
