Bluth's Original Frozen Banana Stand, Monday, 3/3

George Michael Bluth was running circles around his banana stand. Eddie was flying over his head, trying to peck at his hair. But it wasn't George Michael's fault. It was his shoes! They wouldnt stop and he just kept running and running and running, making soft whimpering noises and chuckling nervously on a ragged breath.

"Okay stop... s-stop now," he said. Then, "What's going on? Someone... my shoes are alive!"

"Anyone?"

"Anyone?"

And around and around he went.

Sky was coming to tell Mr. Manager that he might not be able to come into work on Friday- or, well, EVER AGAIN- when he spotted him running wildly around the stand. He floated up as fast as he could, temporarily forgetting that he wasn't himself (http://multiplez.livejournal.com/14253.html) and that Mr. Manager wasn't likely to recognize him on sight.

"Mr. Manager? Is everything alright?" he asked tentatively, keeping pace with George Michael as he ran.

"No, it's me, Sky," said Sky, floating close. "Er, are you okay, Mr. Manager?"

Upon hearing this, Sky was... rather glad he did not have shoes today. He then bobbed in front of Mr. Manager's face.

"I'm right here. I'm the sparkly red ball."

"I don't know how it happened," said Sky, floating down to rest on the countertop. "My friends and I had to go for a training exercise this weekend, and when we came back to Fandom through a portal, we were all like this." He didn't want to get into explaining what a wormhole was. "I don't know when I'm going to change back... if at all... and I obviously can't serve bananas like this." He then turned as Eddie landed next to him, peering closely at him. "Come any closer, bird, and you will regret it."

How he was going to make Eddie regret it was, of course, up in the air.

"None taken," said Sky, floating out of Eddie's reach, though the seagull's eyes still followed him. "And believe me, I don't exactly know what to say, either. But I wanted to let you know, since... this being Fandom... I could be stuck like this for a while."

"Thanks," sighed Sky. "I don't need to sleep in this body, I don't think, actually. I didn't last night, at least." What he didn't mention was that he'd been able to spend the whole night watching Troy sleep, which had been oddly satisfying... he would have blushed, had he been human, but instead glowed a tiny bit brighter.

"Oh, I am?" Sky asked, making a mental note of this. "I can't see myself, so I can't tell." Another sigh as he drifted up to The Suit, which was hanging in the stand... and mentally sticking his tongue out at it. Hey, he could be immature while nobody could tell he was being so.

Screeee, said Eddie. He was getting more and more confused by the fact that GIANT FOOD's voice was there but GIANT FOOD himself was not.

Sky couldn't suppress a snort.

"Really? It's not all that great, though," said Sky. "I mean, I suppose it's handy on days like today, when shoes are running wild. Otherwise... not so good." If he was solid, he would have shrugged. "Could be a neat party trick, though."

"Of course you wouldn't," said Sky sincerely. "And, well, I wouldn't, either. I don't like invading peoples' privacy. At Fandom, though, the point's kind of moot, anyway, since the squirrels see and hear so much."

"Yeah. I saw several pairs running away on my way here," said Sky. "And earlier this morning, I saw Mr. Tom- he owns Pizza Planet- being dragged around town by his."

"I didn't," said Sky honestly. "I'm a talking ball of light, so I'm not really in any position to call anybody else crazy."

"Thanks," said Sky, honored by the compliment. "I hope I'm back to normal soon, too. It's... really boring and frustrating, since I can't do much except float and talk."

"I can switch between being solid and being able to float through things if I want to," said Sky. "Nobody's tried to touch me yet, though. I'm almost afraid something will happen to them."

"Yeah... kind of." He sighed, then began to float off. "Well, I'll let you know if I turn back to normal anytime soon."

"Thank you, Mr. Manager," said Sky. "I really appreciate it."
