Pizza Planet, March 22 (Saturday)

Jen had ended up going out after work to tinker with her ship, a fruitless but time-consuming diversion that took up half the night and resulted in her falling asleep in the pilot's seat until inconvenient sunlight reflecting off a circuit panel woke her up.

She was half asleep at the counter now and pretending not to be -- but it was pretty obvious that she wasn't all here today, if you looked at the specials board.

Today's Special
(

There was a long squiggly chalk line below that one curved bit; it squiggled its way down to the bottom of the board and tapered off, perhaps to squiggle on toward infinity in mysterious invisibility.

Although if you looked down you'd see the chalk on the floor where Jen had dropped it, and a squiggly-line smudge on her cheek that matched the slightly smudgy part on the board, funny enough. (Oh, look, pink chalk too. What a disturbing coincidence.)

[OOC: Going to be AFK until this evening, so unless you want really really really slow service, you may wanna mod it.]

Tom had noticed that Jen was asleep, but he didn't really mind much; after all, it'd be hypocritical for him to be angry with her when he himself had slept for two straight days last week!

He was distracted himself, anyway. Lynette had been a little distant ever since their joyful reunion last Sunday, and he had no idea why.
