Caritas [Friday evening]

It wasn't Robin's normal evening, but that was fine. Not like she'd been up to anything particularly interesting tonight anyway.

And she didn't know what Barney had been teaching in his class today, but she felt an urge to wear her pink bustier top under her white, open cardigan. The weather was starting to warm up, and it seemed comfortable and appropriate.

[I could not help myself omg.]

"If everything goes according to plan with the renovations of the place I bought and everything? Wednesday after next." Charlotte gave a confident sort of nod, although saying it sent her head in a dizzying flail of worry that something terrible would happen. "I know Wednesday sounds like an odd day for an opening, but, I figure, that's the best sort of day to get people to come. Weekends are usually booked with other things; if it's a weekday, then it's most likely to be open." She sipped her Cosmopolitan again with a sort of important determination.

"Uniform?" Charlotte asked, always interested to hear about a man in uniform, especially when an interest in it helped her avoid the issue of the outfit being brought in again.

"Oh!" Charlotte lit up a little with recognition. "So you're the one dating the Hot Mountie Xander mentioned!"

Well, Charlotte supposed that could also be another excuse for the outfit. She imagined a woman didn't have to care so much about how she looked if she'd already snagged a Hot Mountie. "Have you been together long?" It was a conversation that she knew would only end up depressing her, but, just like with Mary and her fiance, Charlotte was just such a stickler for happy stories at her own expense.

Charlotte looked impressed, for the most part. That sort of consistency was nothing to frown at by any means. "Congratulations," she said. "I look forward to maybe meeting him when the gallery opens."
