Amber missed the April Fools party last night. It had really bummed her out when she remembered and honestly, she couldn't believe she wrapped herself up in thick blankets most of the day reading a trashy romance novel. Her ma would be proud most likely, but Amber just knew there were better things for her to do. It was just about a hot pirate and ooooh! she only had two more chapters until she was done.

So, in between dealing with customers today, Amber was behind the counter, her nose buried in her book.
