Trooper Station: Wednesday

Dale is back at his desk and is reflecting on the events of Friday and Saturday as he goes over the reports from the troopers regarding the increase of prepubescentĀ children that had occurred over the weekend.

There's a cup of coffee and a jelly dougnut on his desk, his voice recorder is filled with observations and there's a small grin on his face as he knows that everything in the universe is exactly as it should be.

Or at least as close as it gets here in Fandom.

Roy's mood this week had definitely been better. He made his way out of his office, mug in one hand as he was apparently in search for a refill. "Cooper."

If it had been Havoc, it would have been grating. It was different with Dale however. "Heard anything from Montoya yet?" Roy asked.

Roy nodded and headed for the coffee pot. "Thanks for letting me know," he said, referring to the voicemail Cooper had left. "Everyone is in one piece?"

"The students turned into little kids," Roy replied as he refilled his mug. "It was... interesting."

He chuckled. "I mostly just had an encounter," he replied. "Apparently blondes are cute no matter what the age."

"Ino," he replied. "I saw one of Aly's students too, but he didn't seem to be very big on sharing her. Can't blame the kid."

Later that afternoon, an annoyed-looking Melody popped her head into the trooper station. "Hi, is this where I would report a crime?"

Roy hid his grin by quickly sipping from his coffee. "You're going to enjoy saying 'I told you so' for a long time, huh?"

"Yeah, I mean, now that I've showered I am," Melody said, fluttering a little. "I'm just mad and wanted to do something about it."

Roy snorted. "Then you're a better man than I would be."

"Hot chocolate?" Melody asked hopefully, sitting down. "Thanks."

"Right, so I was just walking to work yesterday," Melody said, taking a sniffly sip of hot chocolate. "And this huge glob of whipped cream mixed with strawberry jam landed right on top of my head and ran all over my jacket. It was guh-ross."

She paused, awaiting sympathy.

"Did we at least get you worried?" Roy asked. "I hate to be predictable like that."
