Makoto was… way way late. Hair troubles. ‘She’ hurried in, severely apologetic, and set about the business of getting things open.

Once he's here~

Tom wasn't particularly bothered by Makoto's lateness, as he was preoccupied. He was trying to think of ways to break his idea of Lynette possibly joining him at Fandom to help him run the store to her ~~as his mun is likely going to app Lynette soon~~. She'd not been... very receptive to the whole "opening a pizza place" thing in the first place.

It had been a while since G'Kar had gone out to eat. Aside from his 'power lunch' as Turtle called it, he really hadn't been in a restaurant in...well, years. The vast unknown parts of space was rather low on available eateries.

He spied the man in the restaurant and wondered if he was the owner of the establishment that he'd heard about. ~~thank you radio!~~

"Hello," he greeted. "I am G'Kar. Are you a fellow business owner?"

Tom stared. He couldn't help it, and wondered vaguely if it was more Fandom weirdness, or if he was hallucinating.

"Ah... yeah," he said when he'd finally found his voice. "Yeah, I own Pizza Planet."

"I co-own Turtle and Canary with Turtle. Pleased to meet you."

The staring didn't go unnoticed. G'Kar was rather used to it by now. "I'm a Narn," he supplied. "I don't suppose you're accustomed to many aliens."

"No... n-not really," said Tom weakly. "I do apologize for my rudeness; I keep running into things I'd never dream of here at Fandom." His usual smile returned. "My name's Tom. Tom Scavo. It's nice to meet you, too, Mr. G'Kar."

"I've gotten used to it," G'Kar smirked. "I think it's the spots. Gets people all the time."

"Fandom is quite an unusual place. A very interesting unusual place at that."

"I know," agreed Tom. "My wife thinks I'm nuts when I go back home and try to explain things to her, even when I bring some sort of proof. I'm trying to convince her to come co-run the business with me... of course, I haven't told her that yet."

"There were many things I found strange when I first arrived. Honestly, there are *still* things I find strange. Falling pastries?" G'Kar quirked an eyeridge.

"Having a business partner is a wise decision. Though it sounds like a difficult proposition to pull off if she isn't aware of it."

If you must~

... I think I need to glance at my sticky notes of FH scheduling stuff more often. Geez. *facepalms*
