As Chad plucked a little at his guitar thoughtfully behind the counter today, he realized that another semester was about to pass him by where he actually didn't capitalize on that whole second band idea. Part of him reasoned that between school, a job, two sports, a boyfriend and a budding (hopefully) modeling career, it was hard to fit a band in there, too, buuut...

This summer. Definitely this summer. Prince Oscar Pedro had agreed (or it looked like he had kind of agreed) to pester Chad about it if he kept slacking off.

So not the same thing if you asked Teddy.

And look! He brought pizza!

Had to mix it up after all. "Hey."

One had to wonder just how much the two of them would end up exhausting this town's offerings of take out.

"Hey." Chad, his fingers still moving on his guitar, lifted his chin in greeting instead of lifting a hand. "That pizza?"

Because, you know, so many other things came inside of a pizza box.

"With extra tomatoes and everything," Teddy confirmed.

Chad stopped his playing for that.

"Best boyfriend ever," he declared, shifting the instrument so he could pull the strap over his head and set it aside to leave in and give Teddy a light kiss.

Kisses for pizza, yeah, Teddy could handle that. "Have to pay you back for all the dinners somehow."

"But those dinners were me paying you back for other dinners," Chad pointed out. Not that he was complaining, of course.

"Damn," Teddy said with an exaggerated pout. "You figured out my plan to keep the dinners happening."

"Like I'd stop, anyway," Chad said. "I like these dinners. And it's not like we usually have anything better to do at work."

Especially since Teddy had recently outlawed sex in public.

Like they had sex when one of them was actually at work!

"Good!"

They could; that's all Chad was saying. They could. And he doubted anyone would have any clue.

That pizza had gone too long without being broken into. Chad cracked open the box and dug in. "So'd you do anything interesting today? Besides bring me food?"

Teddy paused for a moment. "Other than class... I think this was the big thing I did."

"Pretty exciting day," Chad commented before his mouth was too full with pizza.

"Yeah," Teddy said, shaking his head in amusement and snagging a slice for himself. "You?"

Chad shrugged. "Thought a bit about that new band..."

"Really?" Teddy perked up, hopping onto the counter to sit. "Any ideas?"

"Uhhh, just that I should actually do it."

He shrugged.

"Start of the summer, maybe. When the new kids come in."

You know, like he said he'd do this semester.

"That'll be cool." Then he could break out the leather pants again!

As if they needed a reason to break out the leather pants.

"Yeah; maybe we'll get in some people with talent. No one this semester seems to really be much into music."

Either that, or Chad just failed at seeking them out.

So did!

"We could put up posters that first week about it!"

"...First week's pretty quick, Ted..."

"Oh." It was, wasn't it? "We could wait a while then..."

"But not too long," Chad said, with a firm nod. "Because that how I ended up not doing it in the first place, by forgetting and not doing it right away."

Around but slow.
