Jen was, for some reason, attempting to use every toothpick on the premises to build what looked like an owl.

Apparently, she missed Circuit.

Well, that and there weren't enough toothpicks to build lifesize statues of her Time Force team.

"Uh huh," Bridge nods. "If I wasn't, I'd just be being mean to myself if I came in here," he points out.

Jen laughs and glues one more toothpick carefully into place before setting the not even remotely owl-shaped sculpture aside for the moment. "Aha. You're here to take me up on that offer, aren't you?"

Bridge laughs a little. "Apparently. Uh. What exactly *is* it?"

"It's . . . Circuit," Jen says hesitantly. "I don't know if he got mentioned in the history at all."

And, okay, the corners of Bridge's mouth twitch up a little. "Bits and pieces," Bridge admits. "Not too much, I think because there's issues about knowing too much about what 30th-century technology is capable of."

Jen laughs softly. "Let's just leave it at really helpful robot owl, okay? I mean, there's not much difference between what he could do and what the Alphas did, except the Alphas couldn't fly."

"True," Bridge says, picking up a random loose toothpick and twirling it between his fingers. "Now I kind of want to make one of RIC," he admits.

"Well, that would help." Jen pushes a small pile of toothpicks and the bottle of glue over the counter and grabs the order pad. "What're you going to have?"

Tom had left the Donkey Madness machine off.

It was going to sit there til it got it right.

Instead, he was washing windows and generally cleaning the place up.
