"To go to prom, or not to go to prom - that is the question..." she said to herself, and Apu if he was listening. If she was going to go, she needed to get a dress fast and purchase a ticket.

Eh. Lucky for her she gets an employee discount and can find a dress right here. Which is why Amber was in the prom dress section, looking over the dresses. She'd probably be here awhile.

A little late into the morning, Cable-and-baby made their appearance in the store. He nodded at Apu; the respectful silence that followed as he quickly picked up diapers, formula, and anything else the morning's jaunt through the internet had told him he needed was...

Very much appreciated.

He paid quickly, then vanished from the store as quietly as he'd come in.
