D'Argo did open Caritas tonight. Of course, as he had no AU children wandering around, he had no idea how many people might need to get really really plastered today.

[Will mainly be doing kid stuff, so mod Tino if you want fast service.]

Because when you're as drunk as you may need to get, you don't care what you're singing.

Beware alcohol poisoning.

"TINO!" Barney called, not caring if Tino was five feet away or five inches, but then Tino shouldn't either given the green paper with Mr. Franklin's picture that Barney was waving in the air. "Booze me!"

There was a small brunette child staring at him.

"Hi, can you give me some beer?"

Barney frowned, the chances this child was related to him were too good today. "Do you know me?"

Terry tilted her head to the side, frowning at him and his brain. "...no. I have parents already."

"And that stops you from knowing me, how?" Barney asked.

"'m not your kid."

Because that should totally be obvious.

She might need to branch out and be socialized with people who weren't used to telepaths.

Maybe.

"You're a creepy child, and that's saying something given I have a daughter who wants to stab people for being ugly." Not that Barney disagreed with Robin's reasoning, just the part where blood was messy.

"Am not!" Terry glared at him, arms crossed over her chest. "Take it back! Take it back!"

"What? That you're creepy?" Barney rolled his eyes. "Who are your parents?" Before he mocked, he should at least know if he needed to be quick like a bunny if a scary parent should show.

"Father can make you cry like a little girl!" Terry said, glaring at him still. "An' an' an' Daddy will beat you up!"

"You know, my nephew has two dads," Barney shared. "My brother and I could be twins."

Terry continued to glare at him.

"He can make you think you're a two year old."

Okay, so she once heard Daddy say that to Stark... It could still be true!

"Oh yeah? What's daddy's name then?" Barney asked.

"Cable. An' if he doesn't do it, Daddy will beat you up!"

Barney didn't know Cable personally, just that he ran the weapons shop. Good thing to remember. "So who's your other daddy?"

"Deadpool and he'll write his name with you insides."

Uncle Weasel told her about that one.

That was why he wasn't allowed to babysit them.

Mari hadn't seen Mommy or Daddy all day, now it was getting dark and she was getting afraid.

She headed inside the brightly lit bar and walked up to the first person she could and tugged on his jacket. "Do you know where my mommy is?"

Barney was Not Pleased with all these children flocking to him. "Depends," he said, looking down at her, "who's your mommy?"

"Mommy?"

Somehow that didn't seem right though. Daddy always called her something else. "I think? She's always with her special friend Roy-head."

"Roy? The sheriff guy?" Barney asked, mulling over his radio knowledge. "I think I heard he's been making quality time with Aly, right?"

Mari nodded. "Yah!! Unca Wade doesn't like 'im though," she explained and then tugged on Barney's jacket again. "Can you find them?"

"I'm sort of busy trying not to pay attention to those fools in the lounge," Barney answered. "But we can call your mom and bitch at her for not being around?"

Mari seemed to consider this option for a few moments and then nodded. "Yah, that works."

"What's Bitch mean?"

"To talk in a not so nice manner," Barney explained, getting out his phone and selecting Aly's number. "Anything specific you'd like me to tell her?"

"Yes!" Mari nodded taking on a very serious adult tone of voice. "Tell her to come and get me right now, or I'm going to have to bitch Mommy and Mommy's special friend Roy-head out. And that I'm hungry!"

Pause.

"And Teddy Bear is too!"

"Daddy?" Mari smiled and climbed up onto the barstool with her teddy bear. "He's really strong and REALLY fast!"

Stan ordered a Scotch from Tino. He had noticed the children, and was thankful tht none were his.

He ordered double just to make sure.

Or just hide.

Barney was kind enough to settle his brood in the lounge with their pot pies while he went to order a drink at the bar.

"Get me sooooooda!" Ron whined as his father headed for the bar. "But dun let Robin have any!"

"As if I would give you two more sugar after your mom ditched me," Barney replied, rolling his eyes. "Now, beer, I'd consider." Because small quantities make children sleep, right?

"Hey kids," Mel said showing up at Caritas... because really where else would Barney go? "Did you get your pot pies?"

"We did!" Ron answered, his face proof that he'd eaten well. "What're we gonna do now?"

"How about we drag Daddy out into the graveyard and do a little patrolling?"

Whee kiddies!
