Luke's Diner, May 2 (Friday)
Lacey hadn't gotten around to ordering a second bulletin board yet, but for the time being she was amusing herself by sectioning off a quarter of the existing board with ribbon and scalloped cardboard (in tasteful shades, of course) for the postcards A.J. had said he'd send.
Never mind that he hadn't left yet -- it was a good distraction from thinking too hard about the fact that the busboy had told her the dumpster out back was singing. Again.
Luke's is open, and the trash thinks it's Rod Stewart. WHY?!?
