The Perk, Saturday Evening
Summer decided she wanted something caffeinated and yummy after the weirdness of graduation. She had no idea things were about to get possibly more weird.
She hadn't realized she had arrived at the same time as two other very similar people.
"Oh come on, we have got to stop thinking alike," she heard a young woman's voice say. "It's creeping me out. Can't you just...leave?"
"Hey, I've been around longer than you have," an older, similar voice replied. "So you should go."
Summer mentally flailed as she realized the two bickering women were the mothers of her boyfriend.
"Holy awkward," she muttered, hoping she could leave the Perk before either of them spotted her.
"Hey, aren't you Summer?"
Too late.
Summer turned to look at the younger Piper. "Um, yes?"
"Are you a friend of Wyatt's?" the elder Piper asked her.
"Uh...yeah," Summer replied. "And Chris's."
The younger Piper smirked a bit. "She's Chris's roommate."
Piper was smirking. Summer figured that was a sign she must know they are more than roommates. "Look, I don't know what you could have heard about me, but I swear I will never do anything to hurt Chris. Not intentionally, anyway. I mean, he means a lot to me. You have to know that. We even had kids together. So you know things must go well with us..."
"WHAT?! You have kids?!" The older Piper looked like she was going to faint. "How did I not know this?"
"Relax, kids from the future," the younger Piper assured. "They know better than to be having kids while still in high school. Isn't that right, Summer?"
Summer gulped and may have let out something that sounded like 'meep.' "Of course. I swear. No plans for that."
"Good," both Pipers said in unison.
"You're doing it again," the older Piper sighed.
"So, you're Chris's girlfriend now, huh?" The younger Piper asked. "I'm not surprised."
"You're not?" Summer replied.
The younger Piper nodded. "Well, you've been living together so long. And he always said nice things about you. Plus, you had kids show up. Again."
The older Piper looked somewhat skeptical. "You better mean what you say about not hurting him."
Because you haven't hurt him enough? Summer thought to herself. She dared not say it out loud. "I do Mrs. Halliwell."
"By the way," the younger Piper said. "Please don't ever call me Mrs. Halliwell. That's my grandmother's name."
"Okay," Summer said. "Whatever you want."
"Let me buy you some coffee," both Pipers said at the same time. Then they rolled their eyes at each other.
Summer grinned. Hey, she was going to get two free drinks out of this.

He entered the shop and stopped dead in his tracks when he spotted his girlfriend and both versions of his mother having coffee together.
He wondered if he could sneak out without being spotted; he didn't need coffee that bad.

"Hey, honey," Chris said, slipping his arm around Summer's waist and kissing her cheek.
"Hi Mom and... Mom. What are you ladies up to?"

"You mean graduation ceremonies are always this eventful," the older Piper asked.

The older Piper spoke up. "Your dad and I will be here until tomorrow, too."

She totally just wanted to escape this awkwardness.

The older one smiled. "Goodnight then. See you tomorrow?"

"I'm so so sorry you had to deal with that," he apologized once they were out of earshot of both Pipers.
