So. Greece. Really pretty place. Faith approved of the island's new vacation digs. Especially the bit where she got to see Greece without having to pack.

And Caritas was open.

Melody had to stop in to say bye to Faith. Faith was awesome.

"Faiiiiith!" she greeted. "Mai tai me?"

"Melody!" Faith grabbed a glass and grinned. "You call your friend? The rocker chick, right?"

"Uh-huh," Melody nodded. "And we talked for, like, an hour, and I went over everything I needed, like wheatgrass juice backstage before shows and a petsitter for the cats, and I didn't take any guff ... and we decided I'm going on tour with her for at least six months."

And somehow, saying that to Faith made her the tiniest bit sad.

"That's awesome," Faith said, tossing a pink umbrella in the glass and handing it to Melody. "Consider this a congratulatory mai tai. Wait, so when are you leaving?"

"Sunday," Melody answered, then made a small gesture with the drink as she backed up. "Wait, except Anakin's getting married Saturday, and I'm going to that? So I guess Friday's my last day on the island."

"Right, I think I met him, he's on my dad-list," Faith nodded. "Seriously, you're taking off Friday? Not gonna be the same without you hanging around, you know."

"I think you talked to him at my party," Mel told her. "And yeah ... It's time for me to do music again, but there are things about this place I'll miss."

"Plus, I've barely started packing."

"That sounds about right," she grinned. "Very pretty. Shame he's got a fiance and all. You need help throwing your shit together?"

"He must use amazing wrinkle cream," Melody mused. "I mean, I've seen his granddaughter and she's practically our age."

She sipped her drink before answering. "I think I have it," she said. "I'll call you if I need a hand, though? Or if you wanna ~~handwavily~~ come over Friday and watch me run around like crazy, you're welcome to it."

"I'll bring drinks?" Faith grinned. "Drunk packing is the best. You end up with the weirdest shit later when you unpack."

Melody laughed. "I think that's how come I have three Hello Kitty blenders. And sure, come on over with booze."

"You have three?" Faith grinned. "Damn. Those'd be perfect for, like, mixing margaritas and shit. If you ever wanna get rid of one, lemme know, that'd be kinda fun."

"They used a song in a blender commercial in Japan and sent one to each of us," Melody explained. "I dunno how come I ended up with them all, but sure, one is totally yours."

"Good evening, Miss Lehane," Dale said cheerfully as he sat down at the bar. "And how are you today?"

"Dale!" Faith grinned. "I am loving life and especially the Mediterranean. I think it agrees with me. How 'bout yourself?"

"The absolute same," Dale said even more chipper than humanly possible. "In fact I'll be heading off island tomorrow to explore the sights."

"Sounds fun," Faith said, reaching for a glass. "You want a fugitive to show you the hot spots? And what're you drinking tonight, anyway?"

"Actually, I'll have a companion with me," Dale replied. "And I'll just have a cup of coffee if that's all right."
