Stop the presses, alert the news: Cal Stephanides was not in the gym today. It was only on account of the fact that he had to work at the diner today, but it was probably a good thing because he was really feeling it in his arms, his shoulders, his back. So a nice bit of a hopefully easy day of counter jockeying would be nice. He even had a project. It would seem that either Chapter Eleven really failed the business after Milton died, or perhaps it had something to do with some sort of alternate dimension theory that made his head hurt, but he could not find a pack of Hercules Hot Dogs anywhere. Any where. So his project was to recreate them, especially considering how Chapter Eleven had just invented them in their kitchen one day, anyway. He couldn't quite get it right, but he was going to serve them anyway. He doubted anyone would really even notice, and he figured he could make up a pretty good story as to why their food appeared to be mutilated if they did.

Even if mutilating them to try to get the right Herculean plump started to just make him feel uncomfortable after a while.

Yes, he wondered how you could really make Faygo on special when it was already cheap as dirt, but he was working on that detail. If anything, special in that case meant it was what he was drinking all day.

Cal is extremely disappointed in himself for not being clever enough to think of something comedic to post.

I can't even remember the last time I had a hot dog, but now I'm kind of craving one.
