Caritas [Thursday evening]

Robin was kind of bored, and not into playing amateur mixologist tonight.

Mostly what she was concentrating on doing was thinking up insane things to do to patrons tonight. Whoever could fit the most olives in their mouth won a free drink, for instance.

[up early because I have a season finale to watch and then a half-hour drive to make after, so slow from around 9-10:30 EST-ish.]

Igor had been hard at work on...something. Something most people really wouldn't want to know about it. But it had been a quite successful something, and so he had brought his hunchbacked self into Caritas in search of a celebratory drink. "Good evening," he said as he hopped up onto a bar stool.

"A pint of Winkleth Old Peculiar, if you have it," he replied, eyeing the zombies with professional interest.

Not!Barney had told Marshall that a Not!Robin was in town. It only took one conversation with Tino to figure out where and when said Not!Robin worked. He wanted to surprise her so he tried to be as stealthy as a man of his height possibly could be when he walked into the bar.

"Excuse me m'am, but do you know if the zombies know a little song called 'Let's Go to the Mall'?" he asked. "I'd so love to hear it."

"No, no Lily," Marshall said, trying to restrain the little frown-pout that had been coming through lately when he thought about Lily back in New York. "Just me. Teaching for the summer."

Murdock eyed Marshall. "Now there's somethin' I don't see everyday. Someone who's actually taller than me." but only by three inches. dude!

Marshall grinned at Murdock. "If you can believe it, I'm actually the shortest male in my family."

Murdock skipped his usual bouncy formalities and got straight to the point. "Hit me with somethin' hard."

Scotch. The Colonel would approve. "Thanks," he raised his glass in acknowledgement, then took a swig. "Strong and good, I appreciate that."

Fraser strolled in as he almost always did, dropped his hat on the bar and smiled at her.

"Hello."

"How is work tonight?" he asked, resting his arms on the bar.

After a long, semi-productive day, Mike needed to get out.

"I'll take a beer, please," he asked as he took a seat at the bar. "Whatever you have on draft, unless you have Greek beer. Do the Greeks have a specialty beer?"

"That's odd. Every country seems to have a specialty beer," said Mike. "Though I seem to recall the Greeks being known for things like wine and olive oil, and of course the ouzo."

You feel like punishing yourself?

Sadly, I have no sexy icon to offer you. So I give you this grinny one instead.
