The beach, Saturday morning

River was used to Fandom. Waking up as something else wasn't such a novelty anymore, and she wondered if she would miss it when she left. So when she woke up as a little pony, she decided to make the most of it.

Dancing was good. She ran up and down the beach, prancing and kicking.

She hadn't wanted to leave the house, but she'd had to do it eventually-- especially now, just to check if this was just going to be another... ...Fandom thing.

It was a careful Kerrigan who trotted up to the beach-- and almost sighed with relief when she found it was just River. As a pony.

Fandom thing.

She stood at the edge, watching.

And they could talk. Kerrigan hesitated; then internally whacked herself for being an idiot about it-- "Better run fast," she said, and hoped her voice communicated some kind of smile.

Another moment's self-deprecation at the fact she was even doing it, and then Kerrigan's hooves kicked off, gracefully. Sand kicked up behind her, mane curved backwards and danced up and down with the speed, and Kerrigan didn't really need the slow part of this equation.

"Gotta do better than that!"
