The causeway and beyond, Sunday afternoon

Jaye's portal got in later than expected, shockingly. Which meant she got to the causeway late in the afternoon, but at least she had all her baggage and body parts, so that could have gone worse.

And while not overly sentimental (or sentimental at all, really), as she was walking through town on the way to her place, it was pretty nice to be back. Even if she was expecting something weird to jump out at her any second.
