So, Sokka had (handwavily) swapped shifts with Jamie to avoid having work on the same day as most of his classes. Hurray.

Apu probably would have liked to have been warned, but them's the breaks. Liz, on the other hand, didn't care what day it was and ran around Sokka's ankles barking her little robotic bark while he visited the pharmaceuticals aisle for stuff to take care of his throbbing head.

Turtle and Canary was open.

Today's Squishy flavors: Toast, Fries, Grape Judas

Er, no wait, that's not right.

"Sokka!" G'Kar greeted from the doorway. "How is the day treating you?" He was probably loud and cheery enough to cause headaches. Or make one worse. ~~*snicker*~~

Thankfully, the ache was on his head, not in it, so it wasn't TOO bad. Much.

Sokka winced. "Not so good, so far. Some days, I hate this island. You?"

"Oh my. What happened? Did you also turn into a horse this past weekend?" He grimaced a little, "I was not amused."

"No," Sokka replied. "A horse would have been fun and interesting. No, I got turned into a tiny, slimy lizard-thing."

He shrugged. "Got better. And then I banged up my head pretty badly."

"I am not sure what would have been worse; the horse or the lizard. Frankly, I prefer to stay as myself."

"I am sorry to hear that," he replied. "How did it happen?"

Sokka raised an eyebrow. "Lizards fit under my bed," he replied. "Really, I'm just happy I didn't sleep through the horses. Did anyone remember to get pictures?"

"I have no idea. But I imagine not since it would have proven difficult to operate a camera without the aid of hands."

"Luke's pet robot will have pictures!" Sokka announced, with a snap of his fingers. "...Unless it was a pony, too."

"Someone here has a pet robot?"

Jack came in to ~~talk to Jamie~~ ~~talk to Sokka~~ get a squishy. Mmmmmsquishy....

Sokka waved.

"One squishy please," Jack said, trying not to hug the machine with the frozeny goodness.

It had been a long weekend. With horsies everywhere!

"The flavors are weird today," Sokka told him, as if that were somehow unusual, "but the Fries isn't bad."

The machine with the frozeny goodness regarded Jack with a blank stare, and then -- because whatever limited AI she possesses has never liked Sokka -- made him a Grape Judas.

"Grape Judas? Awesome!" Happy Jack had noms. "This island is weird," he statted. "Very wierd."

C'mon, you know you want to.
