Robin was so bored, she was actually looking through a tourist's guide to Paris. She even had highlighters, and was going through and putting fun-looking things in pink, and boring things like museums in blue.

It was a very complex code, translating roughly as pink = AWESOME and blue = BORING things for Benton

[I have no inspiration for post-writing, but I am around and bored!]

Robin was going to kill him for this.

But, she'd been dared, and she got to give him an incredibly filthy-named drink later as a reward.

And at least she didn't sound awful. Robin Sparkles had had some basis in natural talent, after all.

Tino only did it after Fraser slipped him a twenty.

Marshall had spent the day taking pictures of boring art museums for Lily. He needed to do something not boring. Drinking wasn't boring.

"Hey! Can I have a beer?" Marshall asked. "And buffalo wings? Do you guys do buffalo wings? Can I pay Tino extra to go get me buffalo wings?"

"I don't think we have food," Robin mused, getting the beer, "but you can try with Tino. He doesn't like me, so it's just better for all involved that I don't open that conversation. Nice beard."

"What do you say Tino? Wanna get me some wings?" Tino flipped Marshall off. "Okay, well, maybe later...."

"You like the beard? Your boyfriend encouraged me to grow it," Marshall said. "It's got the Lily seal of approval barring that I shave it off by the time I go back home."

"He told me," Robin said, nodding. "He's not allowed to grow one, which sucks. Lily doesn't like it? I mean, she only likes it at a distance?"

Robin was just gratified to know it wasn't a breakup beard.

Charlotte was feeling like she had a bit of dead time between right this moment and tomorrow, which was driving her a little batty. It was time like that in which she really started to miss New York, where distractions were easy to find, but, then again, Caritas worked rather nicely, too.

She came in, had a seat, and ordered her usual Cosmo.

Robin carefully made the drink, sliding it over. "Hi, Charlotte, right? How're you doing?"

Charlotte gave a slight nod, and a smile, though it was light, slightly fading. "Yup, Charlotte," she told her and then tried to remember the bartender's name. She knew that she'd gotten it before, but all she could think at the moment was Hot Mountie's Girlfriend. "It's going well, except....I'm sorry, this is so embarrassing! I'm not very good with names, and I know you told me the last time I was in and you were working..."

Oh, okay, good. Charlotte hadn't just been imagining that she recalled something else like that, too. Unfortunately, recalling it just now completely wiped away any chance she would have of remember Robin's name again, because, really, that ensemble had been that bad.

Not that Charlotte would say that, of course. Her head tilted. "Really?" she blithely mused. "I don't think I recall that, either. My memory must have just been in a poor shape that evening."

Thursday meant, sometime after work, Fraser was pushing open the door of the bar and wandering in.

He dropped his hat on the stool next to him and took a seat. "Hello."
