Caritas - Friday evening [Open]

Jolee was in a mood to clean tonight. The floor was spotless, the glasses were sparkling, and even a vampire could see their reflection in the bar - if they had an imagination and maybe one too many drinks.

Tino was thus being very careful about keeping things tidy. He'd never seen Jolee acting this OCD. He didn't know what might happen to him if he dared spill anything. He didn't want to know, either.

[OOC: Half days on Fridays for the summer, huzzah!

Jolee's feeling OCD and Jamie dared to spill something. Thus, he's not in a good mood. Ah, cranky old man. You haven't been cranky enough recently. You're making up for it.]

Especially if you order Mr Clean. And could survive the poisoning. Jolee isn't going to serve that to you, though.

Jamie and all his fake Stickbugs duplicates marched up to the bar after spending time at the Sirius Stickbug campfire.

"Shirley Temples for everyone!" Jamie declared. "Extra Cherries!"

All the duplicates yelled out a "Huzzah!"

Jolee was fairly certain that somebody in the bar was experiencing some kind of insanity. He'd been hit with Sith attacks that inspired insanity, so he knew it wasn't him. Tino didn't seem to be projecting any bizarre images.

So he figured he was merely being subject to this boy's personal breakdown. Considering how many of the boy there was, it must be a big breakdown.

"Tino? Make the kids their drinks. And label their glasses so nobody gets confused, okay?" Tino got to work, leaving Jolee to turn his attention back on the Jamie who ordered. "Family reunion?"

"Better than family," Jamie said seriously as he accepted his drink. "It's a Stickbug reunion."

"Huzzah! Huzzah!" the faux!bugs shouted.

"We were very close," Jamie said with a nod.

"It certainly looks that way," Jolee said. "What's a Stickbug?"

After a few minutes in the bar, Tyler finally felt ready to confront the Jamies.

At least there weren't two trying to be him.

"Madrox!" he greeted the one that seemed to be in charge. "What's all this?"

"Tyler Bug!" all the Jamies yelled. "Huzzah!"

"It's a sequel!" Jamie said. "Since almost all the originals are gone I've decided to make the Stickbugs II: Electric Boogaloo."

That was an impressive amount of clinging to the past, Tyler thought.

"So the one with bad hair is ... what was it, Craig? Greg?, and the two who look alike are Mitchell and Crichton," he nodded, going on to name each Stickbug dupe with only a few hesitations. "Did I get everybody?"

He wasn't commenting on what he thought of the idea yet. He was just making sure he understood it.

Sometime after his talk with the older man-- Tyler, she'd have to find out more about him-- Temari took a seat next to the lone Jamie.

She had been just... keeping a careful eye on him so nothing could go wrong.

Instead of a greeting, she reached over to take his beer to try. "Ugh."

Tyler came into the bar for a beer, and momentarily considered walking out when he saw the Madrox Stickbug army. Dumb fucking luck.

He decided he'd be brave and talk to Jamie. Just ... after he had a drink.

"Can I get a beer?" he asked the old guy behind the bar.

Her boyfriend had poured all the liquor down the drain, so tonight Mary came to Caritas to try and get her fix.

"Vodka martini, please."

"As long as you don't spill it anywhere," Jolee said, his annoyance starting to fade after a couple of new customers as Tino started to prepare Mary's drink.

"Then you better give me a warning if my boyfriend shows up. Last night he dumped out all the red wine that I bought," said Mary, pouting.
