Wellspring Arms & Meditation Center, Monday

Cable wasn't entirely sure who'd mailed him the leaflet, but as far as information went, it was pretty... rudimentary. Not that he couldn't appreciate jokes, mind. They were just better if they were played on someone else.

Like his employees. He left it in the upper drawer of the desk for them to find.

He put the baby in the crib, then spent about half an hour theorising on whether it'd been a joke, a warning, a threat, or all of the above.

Or maybe a mismailing.

Worf entered Wellspring with a nod of greeting to the owner.

"Good day. Is the medidtation room available?" He asked adjusting his pants slightly at the waist.

"Thank you, sir," he replied and hesitated a moment before entering the room.

"Sir. If I might ask a question?"

"While I appreciate the use of your facilities," Worf began, "There is a point where I feel compensation is in order. Is there a way for me to work out some kind of payment for you?"

"I understand," Worf said seriously. "However the use of your facilities leaves me indebted to you. That is something I do not take lightly."

"It is a Klingon form of martial arts," Worf replied. "It's forms can be used for meditation and help clear and focus the mind. It is also the basis for several Klingon hand-to-hand combat techniques and can include several weapons. It is somewhat similar to what humans call tai chi chuan."

"My people are warriors by nature," Worf replied with a nod. "We follow a strict code of honor, loyalty and duty. Not unlike the ancient Samurai in your world. Though we do tend to be somewhat... aggressive in nature."

Which is the ideal of saying but Worf tends to be some what blind when it comes to Klingon culture.

"I was raised by humans," Worf said rather stiffly. "However I have embraced the Klingon way of life. I find most of the adjustment here to be from being from a different time period. At least where I'm from people are aware of Klingons and their... idiosyncrasies."

"Considering this Earth's history, I doubt my people even exist here," Worf replied. "So for the moment there is only me, and I wish only to finish my schoolwork here and return to my time period."

"Thank you, sir," he replied and entered the meditation room.

Worf went through his usual routine with a bit of awkwardness in his movements today.

Not that he'd ever admit that. Or the reason why.

I shouldn't have looked at that leaflet while drinking soda. :D
