Luke's Diner; Thursday [ 06/19 ]

Cal was making sure there was plenty of coffee available at the diner today, finding himself in rather dire need of it, even if he still felt the taste of it was something he'd never quite grow to like all that much. Lots of cream and lots of sugar. He didn't even know why he was so tired; his was in a much better mood than he had been for the last week; maybe he just hadn't slept well last night and simply didn't realize it.

Oh, well. That was the benefit of working somewhere with lots of coffee, he supposed.

Signs like the one Cal put up today (http://boingboing.net/images/falafelistas.jpg) are good reasons why Cal should not work when he was kind of out of it.

He figured that the Fourth of July was still far enough away still that anyone who saw it today would forget by them, and not be confused when it was actually (maybe?) open that day.
