The Catacombs, Tartarus - Saturday

Each person brought to the catacombs found themselves trapped in a cavern with seemingly no exit. It was cold and lighting was limited and even their own breathing would echo off the walls. The Nightmares were lurking, waiting for fresh minds to taste, to inhale the scent of fear and panic.

Tonight they would feast and the catacombs would fill with screams.

Sadly, Gwen's demon hadn't stuck around long enough after it cut her wrists and ankles free for her to kick it again, so instead she was rubbing her wrists as she looked around.

She had a very bad feeling about this.

Harriet sank down once Hades left (http://ismyhairout.livejournal.com/14628.html), leaning against a nearby wall while she regrouped. It was cold down here, so very cold, and it seemed to sink into her bones.

She'd just sit for a bit, and try and remember everything she'd ever learned about Hades - both of them - and exactly how one escaped the Underworld.

Fraser was staring at the ceiling. It wasn't the sky of Fandom like he'd hoped. Instead, it was dark and cold.

That had not gone well.

He pushed himself into a sitting position, looking for any sign of the demon that had just been in front of him. All he saw were walls. Just walls.

Zuko scrambled to his feet as soon as the demon dumped him in the cave. He tried to go after it, but there were only walls surrounding him and how did that work?

He lit a flame on his palm, using it to light up the walls around him and look for cracks or oddities on their surface that might indicate a hidden door. He found none and for the first time he wished he had some of those explosives Aly used in her classes.

Annoyed, he hit a flame at the wall and he watched the fire move uselessly across the surface. With an angry growl, he sat down on the damp, cold ground and he scowled at the stone ahead of him.

They had to feed him, right?

Andros was not very happy as he tried to find a way out of wherever it was that he had been taken to but despite how hard he tried he saw no escape route.

He sighed and leant back against one of the walls, trying to ignore the throbbing in his head from where the demon had struck it.

He had to find a way out.

Inara landed in a heap on the ground and squinted as she tried to figure out where she was. She didn't see anything remotely recognizable, and it was extremely quiet. Her breathing echoed off the cold walls, making her feel particularly isolated.

She closed her eyes and tried to regain her focus and her strength, since she had no idea what was coming.

Amber had never been more terrified than she was right now; afraid to move after that thing had dumped her and left her.

She was cold and shivered as she tried to figure out where she was. A place she'd never been, that was for sure. Every imaginable horror movie began to take shape and form in her mind and she curled her legs in up against her chest, eyes wide as she peered out into the dank coldness, praying to be saved.

When Gwynn woke up, she felt a massive headache and vowed she would get even with that ugly demon (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/2891049.html?thread=123973673#t123973673) who had hit her.

She blinked.

Well, after she found a way out of this place she seemed to now be in. It looked like a cave, but she wasn't familiar with this cave. She got to her feet and started slowly investigating where she had been dropped.

Head pounding, John didn't want to risk opening his eyes when he came to. He groaned, feeling cold, almost damp rock beneath his hands.

Pushing himself up onto his elbows, John winced at the residual pain in his stomach and his eyes opened to see nothing. Walls. Rock. More walls.

This wasn't at all what he'd planned for his day.

Lana woke up, lying on a cold stone floor. She pulled herself gingerly up to a sitting position, wincing in pain.

God, it was cold. She wrapped her arms around herself, trying to figure out where she was and what had just happened.

She had a really bad feeling about this.

Isabel was grateful the demon had left her alone. Until she looked around the dank cavern.

Amber screamed, fought to remain in control, but her fears were great and they overtook any sensibility as she laid there in the dark, desperately trying to get away from Gladys Leeman.

Coming to, the first though Temari had was... They were dumb to have kept her alive. She woulda finished the job.

And then she opened her eyes to look around.

Really, as far as dark and foreboding Underworlds went, Adah was thinking that, for the most part, this wasn't so bad. Of course, she had only arrived and she was still feeling all too much of the pain from being harassed by two...things (she still refused to refer to them particularly as demons) and the resulting misfiring of synapses in her brain that kept the dull pain and annoying twitches going for a good, long time. They'd pass, though. They'd pass. They always did, and then she could think, she could focus, she could maybe figure something out.

It wouldn't be the first time she'd been brought back from the dark underbelly of death...

It wasn't so bad. At first. Unfortunately, the dreams that she didn't know where dreams started as soon as Adah's pain ceased. Repeating in perfect, continuous loop, the ants kept marching (http://ecirpnellehada.livejournal.com/17334.html), marching two by two.

Adah was a quiet girl, and she had been all her life. The screams that came out of her as she twitched and squirmed and wept in the suffering of her invisible menace, one would think she was making up for all that silence. She couldn't get them off, though, couldn't get them...and when she did, it was only to save one panic for another.

Dean had a hell of a headache when he came to and it took him a few minutes to get himself close to upright. When he did, he took stock; he was in a dark cave who knows where, and all of his weapons were gone. Worse, so was his brother.

But the lighting wasn't the best and he couldn't see all the edges of the place; maybe Sam was just not in view. Gathering his strength, he yelled out, "SAMMY!"

The only thing that answered him was his own voice echoing weirdly off the walls.

ME ME Me me...

Everything was a little blurry when Sam came to, and his first instinct was to rub at his sore neck. Freaking demons, always going for the throat.

"Dean?" he said, his voice sounding a little rough. When there was no answer, he slowly sat up and looked around, his heart starting to race as he took in his surroundings, and the fact that he was all alone.

"DEAN!" he yelled, but the echo off the walls was the only reply he got...
