Alice hadn't gone back to her methodical progression through the alphabet of musical artists just yet. She'd been wandering the aisles and been caught by an album with a year on it, one that still seemed futuristic and impossible to her mind. Strange that in this reality, the year was nine previous.

Apparently, the singer had worried that the world was going to end when the new millenium swept in. She wondered if he'd be reassured at all to know that things seemed to be chugging right along most of a decade later.

Groovy Tunes was open.
