Caritas - Tuesday Evening [Open]

When he came into work Donut put out a sign saying that all rum based drinks were free. It was only right, after all. The stuff was coming out of the faucets.

He was there, drinking rum through a straw in his helmet.

Toby was still sniffling when he came in and already half drunk from his shower. He sat at the bar, hair wet with ale. "Hey, can I get a daiquiri?" He really just wanted the little fruit on a sword and umbrella.

"Sure thing, buddy!" Donut said cheerfully. He was completely oblivious to any sniffling. "Got any preference to what color your umbrella is?"

"No," Toby shook his head, a single tear sliding down his cheek. "But can I get extra cherries?"

"Sure thing," Donut said. He went to making a daiquiri with extra cherries. He put a red umbrella and sword into the drink. Everything had to match, after all.

"Here you go," Donut said, sitting down the drink in front of Toby. He handed him a couple extra napkins. "Your face is leaking."

Toby frowned, "You're right. I shouldn't be crying over that bastard." He heard what he wanted to hear.

"Love troubles?" Donut leaned on the bar and grabbed a couple extra napkins, just in case.

"My boyfriend broke up with me. Again. I am so over that shit." He totally wasn't as evidenced by the continuing tears.

"Oh sweetie, that's awful," Donut said, shaking his head. "What a bastard."

"Totally. We'd just had the most amazing sex and he up and walked out saying I didn't 'get' him or something," Toby said, slurping his drink and chewing on the cherries.

"He said that after sex? God, what a douchebag," he said. "You can totally do better than him. He's a jerk."

"Really? You thinks so?" Toby looked up at him hopefully. "Wait, are you a robot?" He was fast, yes.

"No, I'm human. I just wear armor," he said. "...It's more comfortable than it looks."

"It's a nice color," Toby shrugged. He knew people who wore weirder things. "God, I miss Van."

"Is Van the jerk ex-boyfriend?" Donut asked.

"Van is my lesbian BFF," Toby sighed. "There need to be more lesbians here."

"I agree. Lesbians are awesome," They kept all the other women distracted while the guys hung out with each other. "I think the chick that works on Thursdays is a lesbian. She gives off a vibe."

"Oh, I'll totally come back," Toby said, sucking down his daiquiri, wholly interested. "I've been looking everywhere for a good lesbian."

"A good lesbian is always a good friend to have," Donut agreed. "Too bad they are so rare. The only lesbian I had back home was kind of mean and gun-happy."

Toby nodded. "I know some that are really unfortunate looking. They tend to be meaner. Though, still they never wear shirts." Like he could talk. Not wearing a shirt in a bar and all.

You can drink rum in there too.

I wanna go see The Dark Knight again. But I don't want to get out of my pajamas.

Decisions.

I've seen it twice already and have the coolest Joker tee-shirt.

Somebody needs to make a damn Harvey Dent shirt. He's my favorite.

I'd buy a Jonathan Crane t-shirt, but for entirely unrelated purposes...

...unless pajamas means epidermis, in which case...

...try anyway, and then you'll have a fun story to share. *nods*

I also vote go in your pajamas. (I actually have gone to see a move in my pj's...not so long story since I'm a college student.)

See, I don't so much wear pajamas as much as I chill in sleep pants and a bathrobe. Like Hugh Hefner. Except the only blonde that hangs around me is my sister.

Going out in public in a bathrobe makes you look like a hobo. Or The Dude.
