The Robot Devil, carrying his pitchfork and wearing his hat, took the stage and waited for a hush to come over the crowd before speaking.

"Thank you. Welcome, friends, to this year's Annual Robot, Cyborg, and Other Assorted Mechanical Being Convention. I am The Robot Devil and I'll be your host throughout this weekend."

"We've come here to discuss different aspects of being robots, maybe giving tips to each other, maybe trading your mechanical souls for short-term gains. Who knows? That's the joy of RoboCon! Just as a reminder, there is to be no attacking and/or killing of humans no matter how much you want to or how 'corrupted your programming is.' Yes, yes, we all know that excuse. I practically invented it. Other than that, your prime directive this weekend is to have fun! And if you don't, I'm dragging you down to Robot Hell until you learn what not having fun is really like!"

Jaye wasn't a robot. She was here anyway. Seriously, how could she not? She also had a camera, maybe in the dim hopes that it'd be funny if one started sparking after she took its picture like in that Sampsons episode.

There was a convention. Granted, it wasn't the same one that had first brought him to the island, but he decided to check it out anyway.

Besides, it appeared that a number of these 'robots' looked very human anyway. Perhaps he was one too? Hrm....

Starscream wasn't entirely impressed by the ban on human-attacks - and what if they attacked him? They'd just better not, or he'd defend himself to the best of his ability. Oh yes.

Starscream was loitering and occasionally looking at the schedule for the rest of the convention - was there anything that would ultimately help him defeat Megatron? He might be forced to make actual alliances, if nothing else presented itself.

...Or maybe he could just steal a hat and be done with it.

Athena grabbed a sandwich and made a happy little moaning sound at the taste of food that wasn't made from algae.

Bumblebee took up a spot where he wouldn't exactly be mingling but could see everyone, slightly frustrated that he hadn't yet been able to find the mech he was seeking - though it was also rather reassuring, giving him hope that they'd just made a mistake and there was no Starscream here at all.
