Jen, in an unusual turn of events for her practical and no-nonsense self, had her wardrobe on her mind today. Not because she was worried about what she'd wear to the wedding tomorrow, but because . . .
Okay, she was worried about what she'd wear to the wedding, having set aside her best Time Force uniform for the occasion (it seemed appropriate) only to discover this morning that the shiny and pristine white top half was now attached to a pair of incredibly loud fuschia-colored bermuda shorts. As had every other uniform she owned. And her jeans, and her skirt, and even her sweats.
Which was to say, exactly seven pairs of bermuda shorts. (Look, it was significant progress from the size of her wardrobe two years ago in 2001. And yes, that sentence made sense to her.) At least they were all pink. Funny how that worked.
Hoping desperately that her clothes would be back to normal tomorrow, and in an attempt to keep herself from getting too mopey over the thought of weddings and happily ever afters, she was behind the counter polishing her badge and Chronomorpher to within an inch of their lives.
