He hadn't put up the sign again, though he was considering having one made up at this point since the major cost of the spotlight had been nixed out by G'kar's generosity. After all, a theatre needed a sign. People had to know it was a theatre to come there. To try out. To, you know, pay the box office and see the show. It was important.

...maybe he'd try and see if he could find a stage manager soon. Perhaps during this production. He wan't going to rush it, though. He was sort of proud he'd pulled off one of them by himself, after all. And while the box office returns had been good and they'd managed not to go under or have to go look for outside funding, he wasn't about to splurge until he was certain he could. That said, the sign went up outside, scribbled on a piece of poster board just like before.

Hinata was... severely dubious about this whole concept still, but she'd promised that she'd try out at least and so, after spending a while at the beach party, peeked around the door.

"Geoffrey-san?"

He nodded to her from his seat on the stage.

"Hinata, right? Glad you could join us. Me. Same difference."

"I d-did say I w-would," she reminded him, smiling. "I k-keep my w-word. And, y-yes, it's Hinata."

She flushed a bit. "If y-you wouldn't m-mind?"

It hadn't even occurred to her that she might need to prepare anything.

Hinata rather hoped that he wasn't expecting her to fully understand what she was reading, as a quick glance over it left her...

Well, rather confused. She hoped that it made more sense in context.

She darted a glance at him, straightened her shoulders and looked back at the text and began to read trying not to stammer too much. Hinata took it somewhat more slowly than it ought to be, being careful not to rush herself and mess up, and did her best to, well, not let her nerves leak through her voice. She wasn't particularly good at that, but the effort was made.

Gabriel had really enjoyed the performance of Titus Andronicus. Yes, he had seen better, but he had also seen a lot more dull ones. And seeing the sign that Geoffrey had decided that Fandom needed even more Shakespeare, he found himself rather tempted to participate. Comedy might not be his thing, but he felt certain some depth could be added.

"Hi there!" He said, smiling oddly.

"So, another play?" He looked around the room. "I'd like a part."

"Well," and no, he wasn't going to budge on this one; this wasn't money, this was art, "you're going to have to try out. Do you have a text prepared or would you like me to find you something?"

Of course, Gabriel could have threatened the man, telling him to give him a part or he'd get his heart ripped out, but the angel was in a good mood, and besides, Karal might be upset when he found out. "Oh, any text will do."

He smiled.

"Well, then, let's try something from our current selection."

He reached into a pocket to grab a very worn copy of the play and thumbed through it for a moment before quirking his lips and folding it over to one page (http://www.mirroruptonature.com/shakespeare-monologues/male/maan-4-1-210-friarfrancis.pdf).

"Give that a shot."

At least it wasn't overly cheerful. Gabriel read the text with an intense voice, and at the mentioning of death and internal organs he seemed eerily cheerful. Finally he dropped the pages on the floor. "Well?"

Amber came by to see what was going on. And of course she was going to try and get cast. She'd had too much fun last time.

"Hi, Mr. Tennant," she smiled. "I've been great, thanks. How've you been?"

She'd actually missed being here.

He was nodding along to his own words.

"And getting things together for a new production. No more, uh, blood and death. This one's a comedy, something lighter."

"Eating is important," Amber nodded as well. "I mean you'd fall over nearly dead if you didn't eat. Right? That would be a tragedy because I'm really hoping to keep acting." She was partly teasing.

"Ooh! A comedy! Is there any dancing in it?"

"There is if you want to be a choreographer," he said brightly.

There were enough party scenes to stick some dancing in. And it usually spruced things up if you used it right.

Casting is open for three weeks, every Tuesday. ^_^ I want there to be PLENTY of chances for people to sign up. There's more timing stuff in the link for CASTING if you'd like. Since I've bungled through a production, I've actually got things relatively worked out now.
