Docks - Wednesday - August 27 - [Open!]
It was cloudy today, but certainly warm enough for Fiyero. Living in a cool, damp castle for the majority of his life made him think that anything even five degrees colder than this was still perfectly reasonable beach weather.
That would be the reason why Fiyero is sitting shirtless on the end of the dock, dipping his tattooed feet into the cool water and tapping a pencil against the middle of his chin. Sitting in his lap is a list:
To do.
-Try out for play. (Owe this much to Geoffrey for current lodgings.)
-Acquire a job ---> Book Haven? (Working with Liir might be very odd.)
-Finish reading up on the 'Town' ---> Questions toLiir Geoffrey.
He'd meant to write a few more things down, but when he puts the pencil to the paper once more it's to start a rather shaky sketch of the water.

The shirtless man at the docks was enough to make her take a few steps out of her way and sit down gracefully beside him. "Hello," she said. "Not a bad day today, is it?"
no subject
It wasn't like it had never happened, but it didn't happen on a very regular basis. He flashed her an awkward smile.
"Despite the lack of sun and the multitude of clouds, not at all. It reminds me of home, actually." But with more ... water.

She reached into her satchel and pulled out a small bag of cookies. "Oral Sex?" she offered, holding the bag out to him.
no subject
The moment that she offered him -- well, Oral Sex -- he blushed hard, however.
"Erm, that is...we've only just--" And then he realized she was holding out a bag.
"How do you fit it in there?" Fiyero squinted at the bag.

"That's ... very interesting." That was one way of putting it. He blinked, though, realizing he hadn't given her his place of origin.
What man didn't get distracted by Oral Sex? Really, now.
"And -- I'm from Oz, Miss."

"And," she said, mostly to herself but loud enough to be overheard. "at the very least, it was not in the water. That would have been worse, as such things go."
no subject
It was a most curious statement. More curious was the fact she'd appeared rather suddenly...but then again, he wasn't so observant when he wasn't hunting.
no subject
"Well, myself, I suppose," she said easily. "Because, really, landing in the water would have been much worse than on wood though neither were quite anticipated."
no subject
More than a bit, and probably not altogether clean.
no subject
"I suppose," she mused, leaning over to peer at the water. "Though I was more concerned with keeping my hair dry. It does take forever, you know. And if I'd wound up in the water while trying to get to the park then I'm not sure at all of where I'd land in trying to get back to the room."
no subject
Elphaba might've been concerned about the water, but that was more because of a severe allergy that probably would have ended in death than anything else.
He paused. "Er, how did you get here, exactly?"

No, not spots, he realized as he got closer, diamonds. Interesting.
"Good day to you," he greeted.
no subject
He'd seen stranger, certainly, and the fellow was being polite enough.
"Good day," he agreed, shifting to stand so that he didn't appear quite so lazy.

"No, I don't believe you have. I haven't been here for terribly long -- I am Fiyero." He leaves off the 'Prince of the Arjiki' bit for now.
no subject
He was curious. Or...possibly nosy. Could be either or both.
no subject
"A bit less than a week, by my estimation." Which he hoped was reasonably good.

And he wanted to see his father, really. And possibly hold onto his arm until he felt like the world was no longer spinning around his head just to be unpleasant.
As such, he floated across the water and up to the edge of the dock.
"Er, you, um, wouldn't... that is, I don't want to be a bother, but may I sit?"
no subject
He smiled lightly and canted his head a bit to the side. "I don't mind." And then, because he obviously couldn't just not ask, "Do you blink too? And is that..." He waved his hand at the broom, meaning to ask if it was Elphaba's cleaning broom or ... something else.
no subject
"Generally. In surprise, usually. And yes, it's a broom."
He didn't know how long Elphaba had had it. She'd mentioned something about the mauntery whenever Nor or Manek started going on about it, but that was about all he knew about it. It was hers. Or rather, as Glinda had insisted, his.
Either way, he moved his backside from cleaning utensil to dock with relative ease and stashed the broom in it's usual spot at his hip in the quiver that was starting to show a little wear and tear.
He swallowed.
Nameless Name, he was sitting next to his father. He hoped this would stop being so astounding soon. Or maybe he didn't.
"How has your day been?"
no subject
Another pause. "And another teleports from place-to-place by blinking. Which is, ah, why I asked you about that." He didn't mention that he'd fallen in the water when she'd showed him that trick.
Fiyero glanced to Liir with a slight smile. "And your day? If I'm not prying too much."
no subject
He didn't know.
"Someone I... cared about, er, care about, um, well, I still care but I think they'd rather I didn't.
"He came to the cafe today. I gave him lunch. It was... perhaps the only thing more awkward than how I am with you, if you don't mind me saying. Father."
Beat.
"So you met Miss Lulu then?"
He'd get to Viki soon enough. He didn't know her enough to immediately realize who that might be.
no subject
Because, you know, sometimes that's just what people thought others thought.
Fiyero rubbed his chin lightly and nodded. "Yes, Lulu -- I believe that was her name." She was very ... busty, but that certainly wasn't something to share with your son about his teacher.
