For once, Teyla actually had a mission when she went to open the store today. After being reminded of how many people were unfamiliar with this world, or even this galaxy, Teyla began going through the music she'd listened to over the last few months, and tried to come up with a variety to recommend, to represent what music here was all about. If she left a few genres out, well, she didn't think anyone would mind in the end.

The squirrel--let's call him Leroy--who'd been harboring a crush on Tail-a for far too long was Totally Fine with how she'd been oh so very friendly with the giant freaking unicorn.

It meant that his hope of an interspecies hook-up wasn't so far out of the realm of possibility.

Leroy was a little delusional.

But he skittered into the music store anyway, holding a flower (http://icanhascheezburger.files.wordpress.com/2007/11/funny-pictures-squirrel-girlfriend1.jpg), dropped it in front of her with a scuffle of his wee little paws, and then fled.

The sound of skittering made Teyla look up from the CDs she was flipping through, and she'd just barely figured out what to say to the squirrel when he was already running back out. She knelt down and picked up the flower, smiling in spite of herself. It was quite pretty, she had to admit.
