The Park, across from JGoB, Thursday morning

Jan was grazing, because he was hungry and because unicorns ate grass.

It didn't mean he was enjoying it. Not when he'd tasted oats.

He knew where the oats came from, they came from that delicious smelling building across the road, but he didn't know exactly how to go about getting them.

So he grazed, sending longing glances towards J,GoB every few steps.

[ooc: So open, yup!]

Mornings weren't Friday's forte. However, he had to be awake for class and that required not lazing about in bed and actually getting some caffeine and food. Cereal and Pepsi from the dorms weren't going to cut it today, so he ventured out to get something nice and warm on both counts.

Then there was the unicorn again, standing there, eating by the looks of it. He'd been having a pretty rough day on new kid day, if Friday remembered right, so he thought he'd go over and see how things were going. "Hey Jan. What's new?"

He glanced over his shoulder at J,GoB and then turned back to Jan to grin. "That's the bakery. I was thinking about getting something for breakfast there. Want something?"

"Oats?" Friday repeated. "I don't know if they sell them on their own. Want me to go and ask?"

He didn't know who Dor was, but that answered his question at least. "Oh, sure then. I'll be right back." He jogged over to the bakery and disappeared inside. After a few minutes, he returned with a ham and cheese croissant, a tub of oats (they didn't normally come in tubs as far as he knew, but he'd asked nicely) and a big cup of tea. "Your lucky day. They still have them." He set the tub of oats down in front of Jan.
notahostage: (You're joking. right?)

Wendy was on a morning jog when she caught sight of Jan. "Yo, Jan," she said, slowing down. "What's up?"
notahostage: (You have my undivided attention)

[personal profile] notahostage 2008-09-04 11:40 am (UTC)(link)
"Gotta keep fit," Wendy replied. "And the weather's too nice for the gym."
notahostage: (Totally getting flirted with)

"Sure," Wendy said, grinning as she watched Jan. "I might have trouble keeping up with you though, only two legs to your four."

Claire was done with classes for the week and had decided to see if town had any interesting shops.

She got just a tiny bit distracted by the unicorn. She had heard about it, but she wasn't going to say anything. She was just going to stand there and stare.

He talked.

Well, of course he did if he was a student. Dumb, Claire.

"Hi," she said sheepish. "I wasn't staring. I was just --" she couldn't really finish that sentence. "I'm sorry."

"Claire," Claire said, blinking. Hard. "Claire Fisher. Do, uh, do you?"

She was talking to a unicorn. The 10-year-old inside her was in a state of glee.

Robin had a wee tiny towel draped over his shoulders, and was wearing a tiny bathing suit. He was headed for the pond for a morning swim.

Robin waved cheerily. "Good morning!"
