Book Haven, Monday

Seregil got everything opened and arranged then settled in behind the counter with a copy of the script from the play, hoping to have as much memorized as he could by practice the next day.

The Book Haven was open.

Tony decided to stop into Book Haven and see if they had one of the Elizabeth Fitzroy novels he'd been telling Lola about. He smiled when he saw Seregil. "How's it going?"

Tony thought Bob sounded kind of creepy, but maybe it was different when you got to know him.

Tony was starting to feel like he was missing something here. "I guess women prefer romances written by other women, and since they're the main market for this stuff, Henry uses a woman's name. Kinda sexist if you ask me, but I guess it's good business-wise."

Seregil spread his hands. "Something strange happened back in January -- a lot of people woke up as other people. I woke up as a vampire who wrote romance novels who was named Henry Fitzroy."
