Caritas [Thursday evening]

Robin opened the bar, completely thinking it was just a normal, boring Thursday night. She even bet Tino a dollar she could tie a cherry stem in a knot with her tongue in under a minute when she first arrived, because it was so slow and boring and normal.

She also lost a dollar. But that was secondary.

So Robin was settled in for a long, slow, completely dull and unexciting night.

Poor, stupid Robin.

[I AM AROUND, except for like 20 minutes around 7 EST in which I go to get dinner. (I know, you all love knowing every second of my availability, right?) Mod Tino for speedier service if you like, but I should be steadily glued to the computer tonight. :D]

Victoria wasn't precisely sure where this was, but what she did know was that this particular place looked like a bar, and a bar meant beer, and beer meant there might be company.

She hadn't expected to see Robin Scherbatsky, of all people, manning the bar. "...Robin?"

Chuck came into the bar because, one, it was a bar and, two, Thursdays was when his favorite bartender was working. It was true. Since Faith and her boobies left Robin and her boobies became Chuck's favorite bartender.

He came in and hoped for a quiet evening.

Oh silly Chuck.

Dan had planned on spending the evening in his room, writing. Instead, he'd spent the evening staring at a blank page until he got so frustrated, he got up and headed over to the new island.

He walked in and immediately recognized the back of that head, that garish wardrobe.

"Of course," he said like he had the absolute worst luck in the entire world.

Barbossa staggered into the bar. "THE RUM IS GOOOOOOOONE!"

Barney came charging into the bar carrying a large latte. "Taste this and tell me what's wrong with it," he ordered, offering it up to Robin.

Vesper sat at the bar, not entirely sure why exactly she was here instead of staying locked in her place back on Nemesis Island, possibly even hiding under the bed if she had to, which was really the only sane and sensible option open to her during this idiocy.

And if kept telling herself that, she might believe it. Eventually.

Not expecting to run into anything he couldn't handle, even if the island's new neighbour did have his so-called-nemesis, Bond had come to Caritas for a quick drink.

So when he caught sight of her, it was only natural that he go over to ask if Aravis had run into any trouble of her own.

At times, Bond was rather good at self-deception.

Fraser made his way in and, after seeing several unfamiliar faces, took a spot at the end of the bar to keep an eye on everyone.

Since Robin was working and they couldn't catch up (and that was awkward, anyway, but there was no reason to not be nice!), Victoria just settled herself at the end of the bar, sipping her drink and people-watching.

Barbossa gave her his best smile.

Poor girl.

"Hello, wench."

Even evil Bounty Hunters needed to drink, while it wasn't Onyx Darkonda cackled as he walked up to the bar.

There couldn't be that many places someone like Fraser could hide in this small time town. The bar was just the next place Victoria checked.

When she pushed the door open and saw it crowded, she immediately gave up on having any privacy. Not that they'd stay here, of course. He was so easily talked into things.

A quick scan came up empty but she wasn't looking that hard. With a final look towards the bar and bartender, Victoria left the same way she'd come in.

Jack was totally here to get drunk. Probably not in an evil way, though.

With the bar being so crowded (and oh, she recognized some people she knew, how wonderful), Umbridge took up a spot in the lounge. Her wand lay across her lap. Not that she thought she'd need it. She knew this place. It was safe.

Which was why it was a perfect place to be.

Once sunset passed Lestat simply had to explore the new neighborhood. Attracted by the sounds of music, he headed into Caritas.

Since he didn't drink anything from the bar, he made himself comfortable in the lounge and settled in to watch, well, everything.

He ended up staring at the zombies as they played a set. It wasn't so much that they were zombies as "...are they singing The Heat is On?"

Some things were too disturbing for words.
