Town Hall, Sunday Morning
The phone shut in Cable's gloved hand. That much had been taken care of. Wordlessly, he passed a piece of paper on to one of the staff. "Make sure she gets that," he said, and checked his watch again.
In no time at all, the final tournament would begin, and they'd have to be ready. For the occasion, he'd taken out the old black spandex suit, and had stacked up on weapons. A very large gun sat by his desk, his psimitar had been firmly attached to his back, and his pouches...
Well, he was still working on them.
He'd sent out a general call for assistance, as well-hidden as he could; there was no knowing exactly who would answer, and he was running out of time.
Cable, however, had faith he'd get his team.
[ ocd up, and for a select couple of people! go go away team! ]

However, she was, though she was very definitely armed now. And she was checking in at Town Hall, much like she had on Friday.
"Helloooo?"

That was good news about getting the other people out, though.

Not that he technically needed assistance. But it might help. Always helped to have fellow soldiers at your back.

Later that morning
He could do it on his own; but he liked the odds better with a team at his back.
[ for the away team members to arrive, plz! ]
Re: Later that morning
She couldn't imagine that he was, but it never hurt to be sure.

Ah. Now he remembered. Well, that would help.

His hooves and his horn were freshly sharpened, and he walked into city hall with his head held high, hooves chiming on the floor, looking every inch the warrior he was. "I am here to help."

He didn't remember learning these things, but he knew them - in his heart and in his bones - all the same.
Re: Later that morning
He was hoping to get a few more before they'd have to leave.

So there was a Buffy, holding her crossbow and waving as she came in. "Hiya."
