Hurley totally zoomed into work... just a wee bit late. He'd overslept. Oops.

He opened up the shop, and put on the album that Chad had pointed out to him the other week. It was... pretty cool, actually.

Admittedly, Fiyero's not sure what he is looking for when he wanders into the music shop.

This would be why he is merely milling about near to the counter rather than actually approaching it directly.

"Holy crap, you're covered in blue," Hurley greeted.

Oops.

Fiyero looked a bit startled to have someone speaking to him at all.

But he manages a slightly sheepish smile.

"Well, yes. Hello."

"...Are those tattoos? Dude, that's... hardcore," Hurley said.

"Er, they are. Everywhere," he explained, "And something I got about when puberty finished up."

Hardcore? Well, we can pretend.

"Wow, dude," Hurley said. "Oh, uhhh, welcome to Groovy Tunes. Can I help you?"

He nodded.

"Ah, well. Perhaps. I'm Fiyero, by the way." He rubbed his neck. "And I am looking for ... something." So helpful, no?

"I'm Hurley. And we have... mostly music stuff," Hurley said. "What do you like?"

"I didn't listen to much music back in Oz," he admitted, "largely because there wasn't electricity in Kiamo Ko."

And Sillipede probably didn't count, he thought. "So I must say I am not sure."

"Oh," Hurley said. "Ummm... You like Three Dog Night, maybe?"

Fiyero looked clueless.

Well, he could try! "I ... might??"

"Well... how loud do you like your music?" Hurley asked.

"Loud? Well, I would like my music to be comfortably loud, of course." He didn't really 'get it'.

"Huh," Hurley said. "Uhhh... why not try some Three Dog, yeah."

At least it was a place to start!

"Sounds good. Where do I find that?"

"Classic Rock," Hurley said. "OVer... there."

"Ah, all right."

And over there he wanders!

"You know about CDs, right?" Hurley asked.

"Oh, they were ... in the book. That Liir gave me." So -- sort of!

"Oh, you know Liir?" Hurley said. "That's cool. He's... nice and stuff."

"Er, he's my -- son."

Ha, awkward. "But I only met quite recently."

"...dude," Hurley said. "...how come?"

"I'm a bit hazy on the details."

Which is to say 'it's awkward and we haven't talked about it that much'.

Hurley nodded. "So, uhhh, you like the town?"

He's very good at making things awkward. It's a family talent!

"I'm finding it very different so far - from Oz, I mean. But it's certainly nice."

"Yeah, I can guess," Hurley said. "Ummm. Yeah, I'm a big classic rock kinda guy, so... I recommend anything over there."

And he nodded.

"All right, then. Thank you!" Best to be nice.

Hurley gave him a thumbs up. "Glad to help, dude."

Robin came in, a cassette tape tucked under one arm.

"Hey Robin," Hurley said. "You looking for something?"

"Actually I came because I found that recording I told you about."

"Oh dude," Hurley said. "Awesome."

"Do you have a tape player?" Robin asked. "I forgot to bring mine."

"I think we got one here, yeah," Hurley said.

"Great!" He hopped up on the counter and showed Hurly the tape. It was called "Muppet Silly Songs".
