York Gallery, Wednesday

Teddy really needed to get a better alarm clock before he had to get to work next week. Even if staying in bed had seemed like a great idea.

So that might be why he was napping, head pillowed in on his folded arms on the front desk.

Sleepy aliens are sleepy.

It was apparent that Chad had trouble deciding what take-out to bring in for the usual ANTM fest today, considering that he came in with about five bags from different places. Since he knew both himself and Teddy to be strapping young lads with ridiculous metabolism (well, he kind of was, anyway), he didn't think it would be a problem.

Although a sleeping boyfriend might be a problem. Chad stood there, in front of the desk, wondering if he should say something, poke Teddy, or just let him sleep while he watched models himself.

Decisions, decisions.

The rumble in Teddy's stomach was responded to with an amused grunt from Chad. He dutifully moved behind the counter, setting his laptop and the food down on the counter, before giving Teddy a little nudge with his elbow and an encouraging grunt, and then Chad sat down beside him.

"Now you are," Chad commented, feeling suddenly relieved that he'd sat beside Teddy and giving his nose a gingerly rub in old remembrance of less-than-successful wake-ups. "Rise and shine."

"Have you been sleeping for most of the day?" Chad asked, opening the laptop with a slight frown.

"Uh-huh," Chad grunted, a bit skeptically, and handed Teddy a bag from...the Thai place. "The weather change hopefully won't interfere with model time."

"Good." Chad helped himself to some sushi. "There's burritos, too," he added, nodding toward one of the many other bags.

"...Just a few."

Seven, to be exact.

"I couldn't decide."

"I know," Chad shrugged as he cracked open some dragon roll. "But I had time to get them all today, too."

Chad paused, sushi in transit toward his mouth between chopsticks, and blinked at the food.

"You really think there's gonna be leftovers?"

Chad considered this. "...True," he allowed, especially since there was a lot of rice in the Chinese. And the Thai. And the sushi. And the Mexican. He gave a thoughtful grunt.

"No wonder I was never really hungry growing up."

There was another pause.

"See, that's why we have the stuff from J,GoB and the Perk and Pizza Planet. 'Cause we'll eat the other stuff first, be hungry in an hour, and then take care of it, you know?"

He planned it like that this whole time, really!
