Caritas - Friday evening [Open]

Jolee walked into Caritas to find Tino dressed like... Jolee. He shaved his head and was wearing a fake white facial hair and everything. "This is a holiday thing, right, Tino?" Jolee asked. "You're not going to be dressing like that every night?"

Tino said nothing. But he did have shot glasses filled with M&Ms for any trick or treaters.

[OOC: Not a fantastic day, so I may be slow aside from the special Trick or Treat thread. Mod Tino for speed at the bar. But if you want candy, you need to deal with Mr Crankyrobes.]

"Trick or treat!"

After getting a rundown on Halloween from Tino, Jolee thought he was prepared. And then he saw a frog in white facepaint.

"What are you supposed to be?" Jolee asked.

"I'm Baron Samedi! Lord of the Dead."

"Great," Jolee said, passing a shot glass for Robin over. "Because we don't have enough zombies here."

The zombie drummer drummed a rimshot.

Robin giggled, and tipped his hat to Jolee, and to the Zombies.

Ino bounced in. "Trick or treat!" she carolled.

"What's your costume?" Jolee demanded. Before anyone got candy, they needed to answer questions.

She twirled to better show off her costume. "I am a vampire!" Ino said brightly. "The walking dead, only prettier than zombies and vampires need blood to live so they get fangs!"

"Have some candy," Jolee said, passing a shot glass over. "They'll make the teeth fall out so you can't take out any innocent people."

"Candy tastes better anyway," she informed him, as she took the shot glass. "Like, a lot."

A beat.

"Thank you! Happy Hallowe'en!"

Worf finally decided just to get it over with and say it.

"Trick or Treat."

"I appreciate the enthusiasm," Jolee said. "What are you dressed as?"

"I am a historical figure known as Will Scarlett. I highly doubt the costume is authentic."

"Why did you pick him?" Jolee asked, sliding a shot glass over to Worf.

"This was the only costume that fit," Worf replied. "However in order to obtain candy it is required to wear one."

"Well, your mission was a success," Jolee said. "Well done."

Savannah (http://www.anytimecostumes.com/ecommerce/control/product/~product_id=0035A888415) was bouncy as she wandered up to Jolee.

"Trick or Treat!"

"And what are you supposed to be?" Jolee asked, grabbing another shot glass from the stack.

She grinned. "A Victorian era Lolita."

Jolee knew nothing of the Victorian era or of Lolita, he he just nodded. "Well, it's a very interesting costume," he said, passing the shot glass of M&M's over.

Guess what song the zombies are playing. No, really. Guess. Come on.

Did you guess "The Monster Mash"? If so, then you are a genius.

Tino is trying to cloud Jolee's mind with the Force. It's not working.

One of the tables is dressed like a table that DOESN'T have a broken leg. Except that it really does. DO YOU DARE TAKE A CHANCE THAT YOUR TABLE WILL FALL OVER?
